I used these cables to connect a PS1 to my smart TV. It worked, which I’m surprised as I am not techy when it comes to this stuff but I did my research :) Picture quality was eh but this was probably just due to the fact the gaming system is almost 30yrs old and being played on a newer model TV haha.     • Great replacement for the original ps2 cable
I bought a ps1 without this cable and it fits perfectly. The image quality is the same as with the original. The cable seems a little bit flimsy but I think it will hold up pretty decently for a long time unless you are constantly connecting and disconnecting it from the tv/console.

Don't be like me and think it's a bad cable or it's missing pins. If you don't get signal, "while turning on your PS3, hold the power button down for about 5 seconds until you hear two beeps.
