Just a shade over six months ago I purchased 12 AA, 24 AAA and a 12 bay charger. This was not my first Tenergy purchase and that prompted me to purchase them again after a several years of use. The failure rate of my first purchase was very low - maybe one or two defective out of almost 100 batteries, but this time I purchased only 36 with a charger and I have had to toss 6 triple A and 7 double A so the quality is not what it used to be or maybe just a bad batch. There seem to be a few more of these that are starting to not take a charge. Whatever it was I may not replace them with Tenergy batteries. However the charger has worked flawlessly and I would recommend it - as for the batteries, I'm still on the fence about them... ... show more

We use this for all of the microphones in our church. It worked so well that we bought one for the youth group to charge the batteries for the controllers to all the gaming consoles. I like that that I can get a lot of usage out of the batteries before I have to recharge them unlike the rechargeable batteries that I bought at my local department store. I like the fact that the recharging station tells me which batteries are charged and which ones are charging. I also like the fact that putting batteries in that need to be charged does not effect the batteries that are already charged. I would definitely buy this product again. ... show more

The EBL batteries are solid, use those instead of the Tenergy ones. I've used this charger in 2 different applications over the years, and the Tenergys are terrible. They swell and don't hold a charge. The charger itself is excellent and best value you can get, just toss the included batteries.

Great charger and just the right number of batteries included to power my Roland Aerophone 10 twice. That's 14 hours of playing my instrument away from AC pwr. A bit large to carry around consistently. Info on charge status always available. Seems designed for AA cells.
