My 12 year old Shih Tzu has a sensitive stomach and picky palate. We’ve been using another brand for 8+ years but it was constantly out of stock so we took a risk on this one and love it! Not to mention it’s cheaper which is a win!!

I hope 'Tender and True' are being truthful about all of the ingredients being from the USA. Every other company I called had some ingredients imported. The Other companies said, All kibbles have imported vitamins from China. It's the only place that has the vitamins needed. With what I've been told, I went with these kibbles for my dog's food. She doesn't care for them. But she's very fussy and doesn't eat most food or treats. I wish she liked it better. They are small and she likes small food and treats. Even though she's 40#. She's been given these for months and still doesn't care for them. That makes me feel bad. I want her to be around for a long time and don't want to give her food that could cause health issues. This is costly, so I hope it's worth it. Also hope I'm making the right choice. ... show more

I feel like I am giving my pups the best I can. They love it and I like it a lot. It is organic and it must taste good because they like it. I add fresh vegetable on top or some canned dog food from the same company for a little variety and we all very happy with it. And I feel they are getting nutrition from their looks and actions. The media could not be loaded. Bag just arrived. I opened it and it smells so fresh! In seconds, my cat jumped up and tried to eat some of the crunchy morsels. Seconds later, here comes my oh so picky eater bichpoo who went crazy over this dog food at first sniff and first bite!!! I was shocked! This is a mini poodle mix who won’t sloughs off the various expensive brands of ORGANIC certified dog food that I’ve purchased in the past. He will actually skip meals and walk past his dog bowl indignantly when he sniffs other brands. He is so picky! But as soon as he took a whiff of the open bag (cat as well), my puppy went crazy so I put a little on the floor and he ate it all in seconds! The cat tried to get in on the meal as well but eventually he gobbled up everything before she could get more than four crumbs. Fortunately, they like each other lol! This is my new brand, therefore. I’ll watch my pet’s output (poo) to make sure he digests this ok, but as it stands, my dog gives this a ratings that go through the woof! 5 BARKS AND TWO PAWS UP!!!
