My dog will eat nothing but pedigree and having a putt bull and bulldog, the two of them can eat. But to #1 find a bag this big locally is almost impossible 2. If I did find it, I certainly could not get it to the register, much less my car or the house and up 2 flights of stairs into my kitchen. 3. The price is fantastic. I mean, I pay almost $16.99 for a 6.5 lb bag locally. And I just paid that for a 30 lb bag!! I couldn’t believe my eyes. I’ll never buy dog food anywhere else again!! ... show more

The price is definitely more reasonable than most other brands. I have three dogs and while I might like to be able to feed them a pricier food, I just can't afford it. Pedigree is a good alternative--it's good dog food that is affordably priced. I also make food for my dogs daily in the crock pot so they eat about 1/2 fresh and 1/2 dry food. My dogs like the Pedigree at least as well as any other brands they have tried. 6-2-2024 The food is still great, but the delivery method has sucked the last two times. It has been delivered by USPS and the mail lady won't deliver it to the house. I was able to get the last bag cuz my boyfriend happened to be outside in the yard. The other one got sent to the post office because my "Mail box was full.". Seriously? Did the mail lady actually think that that 30 lb bag of dog food was going to fit in my mailbox? It was sent out for redelivery and never delivered again and finally returned. I wish there was a way to designate for dog food that I don't want it delivered by the post office. If I have to go pick it up or arrange for a way to get someone to pick it up for me, it defeats the purpose of ordering from Amazon. I'm sorry for adding something negative to my review, but I found no other way to inform Amazon of the problem. Hopefully this will help them fix it. ... show more

Both my hound and lab-dane love this food. They are both larger dogs but prefer the smaller sized kibble. It also fits better in the slow feeder bowls. I've trusted this brand through 4 dogs and 27 years and the product is consistent every time. The dogs also eat raw veggies and fresh fruit as their treats. Highly recommend this product! Prime delivery was quick, just wish the driver would have delivered this to my front door instead of the communal and not secure mailroom. ... show more

Actually I ordered it because it's at a price competitive to what is in stores Plus it's lighter than the bigger bags of another version of pedigree. We have four Arctic free dogs so value must be taken into consideration.
