ok, I swore to give this pillow a FULL week before opening my mouth.. I even dreamt that i sent my review to Tempur-Pedic and they sent me a few cool new items. FINALLY, I found the pillow of my dreams. It has TRULY (years) taken me a very long time to find a pillow that I can finally say is AMAZING, COMFORTABLE and makes you want to run back to bed and sleep more. I was waking up grumpy, neck pain, headaches and nothing was working.. I found myself sleeping with a half moon shape travel pillow. UNREAL in this day and age and you simply cant find a PILLOW? well i read a lot of reviews and did NOT want to spend $129 dollars on a PILLOW for goodness sakes. NOW I SEE IT WENT ON SALE (i smacked my forehead) and yet i will say (a couple of days early, for a swore not to open my mouth too soon) and I LOVE THIS PILLOW and i think i will be buying another one for actual traveling... When doing a review for an item it doesn’t mean much unless you try for yourself. Everyone prefers soft, firm and so on. As for myself I Luke a very firm pillow, so when I read reviews and people said it was hard as a rock I thought perfect for me. When I received this pillow it wasn’t as firm as I would have liked for a side sleeper. This pillow high adapt, doesn’t keep ur head aligned because it sinks, which caused me shoulder pain but neck was ok. It does cradle your neck you can actually feel where it conforms to ur neck. I have shoulder n neck pain previously to using this pillow. It does seem well made. I can’t say it’s not worth the money, quality in my opinion is endless. Someone else may say it worked wonders for them, that is a personal choice. Maybe if I didn’t have neck or shoulder issues it would be fine. People want extraordinary results and don’t want to pay top $. I see that a lot on amazon reviews. This pillow didn’t have a smell, and also is more like a dough feel and not a memory foam or feather feel. It would be nice if the height of pillow stayed high, but it does sink quit a bit for a side sleeper. For a back sleeper it tilted my head forward, to bulky, it didn’t work for that either for me. I agree with someone else in their review and said test it out at a store and then get from amazon. In stores these pillows are way more money. The adapt pillow in store look different from the amazon pillow, I said that to the worker and he said maybe these here on amazon could be an older model. Hmmm. I wondered if these here are the real thing idk. Now a days everything is knock off w/o the consumer knowing. My pillow had a stain, I returned for a full refund. I will go into temperpedic store and pay more$, that way I know for sure I got the real thing. A pillow is a personal item, so it’s hard to do a review like I said earlier everyone has different expectations of what they look for. This is overall a good pillow but didn’t work for me. People often said in reviews this pillow is overpriced and way to firm where I totally disagree. So right there we are all different. I’ve spent $400 on a pillow where some people says $60 is overpriced for a pillow. Idk how people want quality but don’t want to pay. It cracks me up. I guess they like Walmart pillows. But as for myself there’s no price limit for comfort. I have soooo many pillows but can’t find the right one. The struggle is real. Also another thing to consider is your mattress could be the issue and not the pillow. If you mattress doesn’t have enough give then the pillow could seem uncomfortable, meanwhile u think it’s the pillow, but it’s your matteesss. I've tried many pillows and this one is one of the worst for me. I am a side/stomach sleeper and got the mid loft as a 5'11" 190lb male. I gave it a week and my neck has never been so sore and uncomfortable. The loft is very high for a mid loft to me and it is very hard/firm. Maybe the low one would have been better... I bought this pillow as a replacement for a Tempur-Pedic pillow that after nearly 15 years of use was finally "done". All I can say is they sure don't make them like they used to. After only 7 months of use, the "memory foam" in the pillow has lost its memory. The thing is so bad that by morning, it no longer resembles a pillow - it is an uncomfortable, misshapen lump that leaves me with neck and upper back pain. It's so bad, I'm questioning whether this is actually a Tempur-Pedic pillow... ... show more

It does not look that slim but it squishes down to be about perfect height. The inside material is the denser memory foam but it is softer and has more give than most memory foam pillows.

when reading other reviews some say 1 its hard as a rock or some say 2 it squishes down and and not supportive.. i figure you cant always go by what reviews say on something like a pillow but...... i got number 2, at first its super soft and comfy but after laying on it for a few minutes you notice it sinking down more and more and it by the time i woke up with lots of neck pain i noticed it squished down about 60-70 % almost like the pillow was only a 2 or 3 inches high, they say this is good for side sleepers but its definitely not. if they had put some harder foam in the center or something so you cant sink down like that maybe it would have been better.. i don't know but this is horrible. but i was reading reviews on this on other sites as well.. not personal reviews but sleep sites and it sounded like this pillow was really supportive and comfy but the one i got is not. this cheap memory foam pillow i got several years back is so much better, its not super soft but still comfy and its very supportive, you do not squish down much at all. but when it comes to this pillow i though for the price it would have to be super amazing and supportive but its just a neck breaker. ... show more
