I purchased this product due to moderate - severe back pain (left over remnants from the Marines). The current mattress I have is still good, but with my back getting progressively worse each year, I needed some sort of relief as it was taking me more and more time each morning to wind up a bit before I was fully mobile. I've slept on memory foam mattresses before as well as toppers. They were okay, but nothing that made me want to go out and purchase a similar product. Another colleague (former Marine as well) stated that his back pain (in the morning) has almost disappeared since he bought the TEMPUR-Topper Supreme. I did a quick search after speaking with him and found a too-good-to-pass-up price via Amazon (other sites to include TEMPUR-PEDIC had this going for $399.00 - queen size) so I bit the bullet and purchased it with the option of being able to return it if it didn't measure up. So, it came secured in 3 separate boxes. The original, another around that one, and then an Amazon shipping box. No damage or issues with delivery. It arrived 2 days after ordering it (Prime). Opening and unwrapping went well with no issues and the mattress topper was without any discrepancies (tears, stains, etc.). No odor whatsoever. I have been around new memory foam before, and this topper had no strong smell at all. I still gave it time to expand and air out (it comes wrapped / rolled up). After a few hours, I put it on the bed. My current mattress is a bit thicker than normal (plush hybrid) so I use deep pocket sheets. I wasn't sure if the additional 3 inches of memory foam would be an issue with size and fit of the sheets. While it is a bit tight, everything still fit and the sheets stayed down / didn't roll up at night. I gave this product 4 stars out of 5 because this topper still sleeps a bit hot (if I could give it 4.5 I would). Not piping hot, or where you're drenched in sweat hot, but a bit warm. That is a better description. Not hot, but warm. I normally run hot anyway, so this was a concern for me, but the pain in my back takes precedence over that so I gave it a shot. I'm very glad I did. I wouldn't say this took ALL the pain in my back away, but getting up in the morning is about 85% easier and with less issues / pain than before. So that to me is a major plus and solidifies this as a good buy. If they had a product like this that kept cool or did not generate any heat at all, I would give it 5 stars no problem. I would recommend this product to others who are looking to relieve whatever pain (neck, back, hip, etc.) they may have while sleeping or those just looking to refresh their current mattress with a updated fit / feel. *** UPDATE 1/22/2019 *** So, I've slept on this topper the past year and can honestly say that this has helped lessen the pain and discomfort I experienced every single morning prior to making this purchase. I have also changed my rating of 4 stars to 5 as the topper does not sleep as warm as it initially did in the beginning. I'm not sure if that is from my body getting used to the topper and regulating my internal temperature, the topper airing out after a few weeks of use and better circulation getting through the material, or a little bit of both. Either way, I actually look forward to going to bed each night and enjoying a comfortable nights rest.     • Luxury Comfort Without the Luxury Price Tag – No Regrets!

I’ve always been a Tempur-Pedic fan, having owned two in the last ten years, and I’ve always preferred them firm. But as the years passed, both my mattress and my body changed. The firmness I once loved started hurting my shoulder, and with some weight gain, I realized my mattress was no longer providing the right support. I seriously considered replacing it with another Tempur-Pedic, but before dropping $2500, I figured I’d give this topper a shot. And I’m so glad I did! It revitalized my mattress, relieved my shoulder pain, and gave me the perfect blend of support and comfort—all without the hefty price tag of a full replacement. One thing to note: this softer memory foam really lets you sink in, which feels amazing for joint support and relaxation. But at first, it did take a little extra effort to get out of bed compared to a firmer surface. That said, after about a month, my body fully adjusted, and now it’s not an issue at all. If your mattress feels too firm or less comfortable than it used to, this topper might be the perfect fix. Highly recommend! ... show more

Hi guys, just wanted to give you guys a warning that the tempur-topper supremes are no longer high quality memory foam but they are still being sold for the same price and under the same name. We bought two toppers in May / June 2021 and liked the feel of them so purchased another in October. The one that came in October was nothing like the first two, it had no "sinking" feeling at all and the structure of the foam was much more porous and light. If you press down all the way on the older formula it takes around 5 seconds for it to go back to the original shape, however on the new one it would come up almost immediately. I have been trying to find out from Tempur-pedic whether they had changed the formula but they keep skirting around the issue in emails only saying they do not reveal their formula to the public. I was told by their CSR that they only have one model of the normal topper supreme, and another with a cooling feature called the adapt+ cooling. The CSR told me they would send a replacement but when it arrived it was the same exact thing. On the tags for the older toppers that we bought they were labelled as Visco-Elastic Polyurethane and both made between April and May 2021. The newer toppers only are labelled as Polyurethane and were made in August 2021 and December 2021. The new formula has a much lower density making it much lower in quality and it will not last as long, the old formula had a density of 3.5lbs and the new one 2.3lbs. It feels like any other cheap topper off amazon now. We have another cheap memory foam topper that we got off amazon for like 80 bucks and that one feels better than these new ones from Tempurpedic that cost 400+ for a queen. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up so you don't get an inferior product for that kind of money. Not sure why they had to change the formula but I think it's horrible that they are still charging the same price for this and I will not be buying any Tempurpedic products in the future. ... show more

Very pleased with this matress topper. This is my 2nd one. The 1st one did not have cooling technology. My 1st 3" topper lasted me 5 years. I have trouble with my lower back with most mattresses. This topper truly saved me from being forced to replace another mattress. It allows you soft great comfort and still supports your back in just the right place. I highly recommend it. The cooling factor so far seems to really help me not sweat nearly as much as with the previous one I owned. ... show more
