As I pushed "add to cart" on this swimsuit, I did so with an eye roll and a sigh--I am a short, curvy girl (my hips are ~10 inches wider than my waist) and I'm chesty too. I've seen this design on a few different sites claiming it's one of the "great bathing suits" for the summer, but there was no way this was going to work on me, right? Well, I can take back the eye roll and sigh--not only does it fit, but it makes me look dang good. The material on this suit is nice and thick**, you can adjust the strings in the front to show more or less skin (I adjusted for less skin--my chest was being a little to friendly with the rest of the world pre-tightening of the strings), and so far it has managed to adequately cover my booty despite me roaming around the house in it to try it out. I'm smitten--surprised too--but smitten. It was not too tight--it fit just right--so I think it runs a bit big. I purchased it in an XL in black and I'm currently a 14/16 depending on the brand. **NOTE: I have seen the same design with reviews of the material being thin or see through--from this particular seller, "TEMPT ME", this is not the case. However, it’s probably been one of my best purchases I ever made! I ordered a size L and it fit perfectly - it wasn’t too tight or too loose! The material is very comfortable and seems to be decent quality. It also made me feel very confident and sexy, especially being in a swimsuit. I'm 5'1/175 lbs/38C. I have an apple shaped body as well! Normally in tops I'm a L/XL depending on brand and type of shirt and in jeans about a 12. I definitely figured a large would be way to small because it's a swimsuit but I debated on the extra large because I'm bigger in my mid section and didn't want it to be tight whatsoever! Also with it being an Amazon product most likely wholesale they can run even smallersmaller, so I went with the biggest size12 so I didn't look like a stuffed sausage! It fits perfectly, and not tight anywhere which is what I wanted in my suit! The quality is good for the price, it's double lined, has padding, comes with straps if you need them, and it's very flattering. I have a very short torso so my belly button does not show in the front where it laces up. Everything is covered in the back even though it has an opening, it lays closed on me because I'm short and have an arched back, but I didnt want anything to show because I have back rolls 😭 I really love this suit though!
