Y’all. This suit. BUY IT. I am curvy: 175 pounds, short, small-medium chested, large booty and hips, non-flat stomach. Specifically: 5’1”, bust 40 (b cup), waist 33, hips 45. I ordered a large in this suit. I literally have avoided the pools in past summers because I always got so frustrated at the limited bathing suit options for me in the stores...Not quite plus size, but not thin. Everything I would try on was either too big, or made me look like a muffin popping out of its pan. After sweating my butt off under the sun last week without a swimsuit, I went online in hopes of finding something that was at least passable. I chose this suit because of all the raving reviews from curvy ladies like myself; They looked BANGIN! Ordered this suit and it was at my front door in LESS than 24 hours! Tried it on, initial observation was that it came on like a glove; No pulling or forcing it to fit. Looked in the mirror expecting to have to return it, my mouth literally dropped. NO insanely obvious stomach pooch, my upper body looked thin and elongated because of the cut, and no squeezing at my thighs or booty. The perfect amount of cheeky in the back; A little peak, but didn’t get sucked up/needing constant adjustment. A beautiful scoop back that hid all my uncomfortable back rolls. A SEXY cut in the front that both contained and revealed just enough. This is the best bathing suit I’ve ever owned and I might buy it in more colors because I’m so pleased with the fit. Fit perfectly. All I can say is that the "covid 20#" had me feeling a little hesitant to get into a swimsuit this year. This suit is just fabulous. The off the shoulder ruffle skillfully conceals the upper arm "lunch ladies", and the lines are really REALLY flattering. Wide at the shoulder, racer cut leg and plunging-yet-not-revealing criss cross center to accentuate the vertical... Even though I'm not the shape I used to be, I've never felt more comfortable about my body in a swimsuit, WITHOUT resorting to the old lady swim skirt! Highly recommend. Made very well, nicely sewn etc. The one thing I would mention about the manufacture of this suit is that the fabric is pretty heavy/thick. On one hand, it isn't a super lightweight suit that will take up zero room in a suitcase - it definitely has a bit of bulk. On the other hand, because it is a thicker swim fabric, it further enhances/conceals the wrinkles and rolls... So ultimately, this suit is 100% flatter. So much so that considering rhe weight of the fabric, it would actually be a stunning top with a skirt for a music or Ren festival. I'd love to see this suit with a lighter weight shoulder ruffle in the next version, like that sheer, mesh-like fabrick that you can tan through? ... show more
