Description

Tekton impact sockets have both a high-visibility laser marking and a permanent stamped marking that won't wear off. They're designed for use with both friction ring anvils and detent pin anvils. Precise 6-point openings provide an exact fit for hex fasteners. Each socket size meets a minimum of 1.3 times the ANSI/ASME standard for proof torque.

No skip socket set, feels sturdy enough to abuse with the positive reputation of this brand. Wish the socket rails were more stable though

The complete set of sizes is awesome, and it's hard to beat the deep neck/shoulder on these deep sockets. There's nothing worse than missing a 16mm when you're not working with SAE. Yeah, most of us have the 5/8" which covers it, but I may not have those on me when working with modern cars and equipment. Even if you don't use them all like I do, you at least have them available, and didn't break the bank getting a nice, complete set. The wall thickness isn't too thick and isn't too thin for durability. It's actually thinner than some of my chrome sockets of various brands for certain sizes in the 3/8" drive range. I have mostly American made premium and industrial brand tools, but for most people, this set is a lot of value for the money. Believe me, I like high quality American made tools, but these are 3/8" impact sockets. They get beat on for a living, and they all wear out over time. I recommend you spend the money you save buying these on premium stuff like quality wrenches where it actually counts. The warranty is fantastic should you have trouble, and I have used it before (on other tools). They're prompt about getting a new one shipped out. The only gripe I have with these, is that I wish the stamped sizes were a bit larger. Some other brands put pretty big numbers on theirs, and no matter what brand, the laser etching WILL fade on you with time and use, and you'll be using the stampings. Buy 'em. Needed a complete set of 3/8 impact sockets and this is it! Only set I found that goes to 24mm with no skips. I’ve only used it twice so far but they seem well made and durable. The laser etching is big and easy to see however it might wear off over time. Thankfully the sizes are also stamped but a little harder to see. I have had their 1/2 chrome sockets for a few years and they still look new after some moderate use. I expect these to last but if not they have a lifetime warranty. I’m a believer in Tektons warranty now. The set arrived with one broken socket holder. I emailed Tekton and got a response within 10 minutes. They asked for my address and sent me 5 new socket clips. Sent the email Friday afternoon and had a new set of clips Monday. That’s fast customer service. ... show more

Fantastic complete set of 3/8 impact sockets. These have been used with the new Milwaukee m12 fuel impact, 550 ft lb and handled it extremely well. I like the fact that the set is complete, bigger than a lot of sets. Getting them on the rails Is definitely the way to go. I looked at a lot of impact sockets along with the company especially the warranty. Tekton warranty is the best imo. Fill out the warranty page (very simple) take a picture and within a day the replacement is on its way. About as simple as it gets. I highly recommend these. ... show more
