  • Poor Review Update: Works Great After Customer Support
Size: 1 Gallon
(SEE UPDATE AT BOTTOM. Picture is from my original review below - was 3 stars. ) Pros: you get a lot for your buck here (given that other mulch glues are just as expensive, if not more, for less material). This stuff is *truly* a glue that you are spraying directly on your mulch. It holds well. Cons: Beware that although it claims to "dry clear", the image I've posted is from over 48 hours after application and it still had globs of blue chunks throughout the mulch. I applied this as any homeowner would: with a chapin/home depot sprayer that I would use for any other spray application like a pesticide or deck wash. I applied an even coat throughout the mulch. Now (time of posting this review) it's been over a week and I still have blue areas on my mulch. Not to mention it is shiny in the sunlight. I suppose I can't knock them too much because now it literally looks like I just dumped Elmers glue all over my mulch. ***UPDATE / EDIT: The company reached out to me concerned about my experience. They sent me a *new* gallon of the mulch glue and provided some tips. Notably, to dilute the gallon with 10-15% water in the sprayer. Originally, this tip was not included in the instructions, believe me, I looked thoroughly! I was surprised there was no dilution instructions, since most other mulch glues say to dilute. After I diluted my new gallon, I can confidently say I did not experience ANY of the cons in my review above. In fact, I have applied two brands of mulch glue on my property. This is by far the superior product. Even with the dilution, the glue dried clear, did not leave a shiny residue, and has a significant hold on my mulch. I accidentally ran my sprinklers overnight too, so the glue hadn't had a full 24 hours of dry time. Still, it hold surprisingly well. I mowed the lawn this afternoon and I was able to use my leaf blower to blast any grass clippings right out of my mulch beds. It's an impressive product for the price, and I will certainly be buying more next year. 5 stars! ... show more

  • Love it! Used on small rocks and pebbles on a hill!
Size: 1 Gallon
Update: Any areas that looked slightly blue disappeared after a few days. It looks great! We had an ugly gap between our patio stairs and retaining wall planters that we previously filled with small rocks. Obviously the rocks would roll down and we would step on them on the way to the pool, OOOOWWWEEEEE… So I tried this glue and it’s freaking amazing. These rocks aren’t going anywhere now. I rinsed the rocks off first and I made sure I got glue mixed all around and underneath the rocks to ensure they were actually glued together and it worked like a charm. The rocks are shiny but they look pretty to me. There is a light blue hue only if you get it too thick but you can dilute it a little, and I didn’t know that. The blue is barely noticeable and it’s so nice to not have rocks all over my pool area now. ... show more

  • Nowhere close to functional
Size: 1 Gallon
I was excited to try this product in the areas of my hardscaped patio where the little patio rocks get kicked around a lot from traffic due to dogs and Company utilizing the picnic table on the patio. When it arrived, I read over all the directions on the one gallon jog that listed the chemical makeup and scope of application. On the label it mentioned that that 1 L should cover 20 square feet and I had bought a gallon so figured I was in the clear to get the cracks and perimeter of the patio with just the one gallon. Things did not look good from the start. It appears as though this was a bad mixture or perhaps required diluting which the directions did not mention was a requirement. It did mention that it was 49% polymer and 51% water which seemed like a more diluted mixture already . It's specifically stated that this was to be applied using a pump on mechanical sprayer I use the pump version. It also stated that you had to shake it prior to application which I did vigorously as if it were a can of paint before emptying the contents into my sprayer. Immediately everything seemed to come out pretty thick and white which all the reviews said would clear up after a few hours. This was not the case as 3 days later it is still milky white and has solidified like Elmer's glue all over the place. I will have to remove all the gummy and half dried spots where it was applicated and remove all the Rocks I already had in place. ... show more

Was excited to use this. Read and reread directions multiple times. thought it was suppose to be mixed with water but could not find it in directions. so did not mix with water. Used watering can ( brand new one) to spread it with. ehhh. looks like streaks of glue on rocks. does not spread over all the rocks. did not cover nearly as much as expected either. Clean up next... absolutely no directions on how to clean the watering can. nothing. Threw brand new can out .Very poor directions. Very expensive for what it covered. do not recommend this at all. UPDATE**** I did not contact the company, only left this review. They however contacted me and offfered a full refund ( not for watering can though) i did want to say they are a respectable caring small company. Theyexplainedthe directions which i apparently didnt get in full with order. did send me directions for next time if i decide to buy it again... and yes i was suppose to mix with water....Long story short i did take them up on an offer to reorder with the right directions..... very kind people to work with. wish me luck on the next batch!! ... show more

  • Works great, keeps my "rubber" mulch in place
Size: 1 Gallon
Works great and keeps my rubber mulch from blowing all over my lawn when doing yard work. I even used a leaf blower over it about a month after application and still holding great! Great stuff, thanks again.

  • Does not work well on small rocks
Size: 1 Gallon
Update: customer service sent me a second bottle to try. I do believe this would work on mulch very well, just not as great on rocks. We bought another brand and it worked much better. Original review: We bought this because it said it works on stones and gravel however it does not. Our small rocks move almost freely. They are just shiny on one side. ... show more
