Don't waste your money. The car won't work. The controller lights up like it is charging the car then shuts off like it is charged. I unplugged the car turned the car on and it won't work. I even replaced the new batteries in the remote with more new batteries still nothing

I was really excited to see that this could be charged on the controller. I have way too many USB chords for charging my son's devices and toys. I have to label them all. Had a hard time trying to get the charging port in the car, it wouldn't stay, charged it for about 3 hours, I could tell the batteries were dying trying to charge the car, the car fully charged was very weak. My son was still excited to get this. Maybe it will just be a travel toy and if it gets left behind it's ok. Am not planning on buying the rest of the collection. This TMNT micro shell remote control car is lots of fun and the controls are easy to work. The car is about the size of a standard small car and the remote control is easy for children to hold. It takes 2 AAA batteries and minutes to setup and start driving. Car veers to the right a lot when controlling/driving. Doesn't work well on carpet (barely rolls), smooth surfaces work best.
