This thing is pretty cool. you can run into just about anything and it will keep going. You can get it out of almost any situation. It is very fast. You won't be able to pinpoint steer this thing. It has a zero turn type of control so you can spin it around and just start going forward or backward on a dime. IT's just so fast you don't know which way you are going to go until it starts. That's the point I think though. My 3 year old loves to watch me but she cannot control it very well at all and gets bored operating it. My 7 year old is obsessed with RC cars. The problems we always ran into: Replacing batteries daily, too loud, hurt when it hit our feet, wheels stop working because of hair getting clogged. This car fixed all of those. My favorite feature that I didn’t expect was that the wheels unscrewed, which was a relief because tinsel got in there about 15 minutes into play time. We would have had to throw it away normally, instead I took 5 minutes to get it working again. 10/10, will be buying a fleet. Thing to note for parents: you need a USB charging box to use the charging cord, 2 AAA batteries for the controller, and a mini Phillips screwdriver. Bought as a cat toy. They are terrified if it. But, the game with cats and remote control cars is if the cars are small enough to where if they aren't terrified, then the cars usually can't drive on carpet and the cats just toss them and you end up walking around flipping over the car 100 times. It drives on carpet, up to at least medium shag. This flips itself back over so its very hard to get it stuck, and is small enough to where they watch it and hunt it, but never touch it to send it into something that may break it. They can't stop following it around and keeping track. So it seems really good for my two buddys and i love it for that. Only drawbacks are that it's difficult to drive straight, especially at first (use the top 2 buttons). And the buttons are VERY loud when you press them. My two year old loves this thing!!! Only downside is that the battery life doesn’t last that long and he gets upset when I have to recharge it; I usually have to recharge it 3-5 times while he is playing.
