My son trashes things like this, hes getting better, but these should be durable, and this one is one of the best we have played with. He puts this to the test, and its still going. Battery life is good he says, not as advertised, but hes switches to the 2nd battery & gets some more play time.

These line of rc cars are fun to play with decent response, quick little thing. it looks bigger in the videos, still a great deal for the price honestly. Great early beginner car, parts are not universal, Don't try taking it apart. Batteries last 15-20 minutes depending on terrain.

I bought this for my 15 month old son. I have several “big boy” rc cars capable of some serious speeds and he absolutely loves watching them! So I figured I’d get a smaller more indoor friendly one for him to chase and have fun with plus he’s slowly learning how to control it himself so this is perfect. For the price this little car is actually really impressive. The first one i got had some gear issues so i returned it, but within days i had a new one at my doorstep. I haven’t even had a chance to send out the return box and we already got a new one. Amazon is great with these types of things. The plastic motor ( or pinion) gears are the Achilles heel but i mean for 20 buck’s it’s hard to beat. ... show more

I am not impressed with this RC car. There are three main reasons. 1. The turning circle is very large. It means that the wheels only turn to right and left about 20 degrees at most. You needed a large area to make the car to go in a circle or to turn around. 2. You cannot control the speed of the car. The car takes off full speed forward or backwards, and there is no slow speed. 3. Turning has the same problem as the speed. It turns full right or full left with no in-between. The shell of the car is a very soft and flexible plastic. It bends when you pick up the car. The should be okay and not a problem. The shell just makes the car very flimsy. ... show more

I got this for my 3-year old and several months later it’s still going strong. He drives it almost everyday and it hasn’t broken despite full speed crashes everyday. It’s not particularity slow either. It doesn’t turn very sharp, but otherwise it’s very good. For the price, I expected it to be broken in a few days.
