    • Nice and stretchy, good adhesion
I've used several cheaper vinyl wraps before, and this Techwrap is much nicer. The material finish is great and it's fairly stretchy which makes applying it easier. The adhesive is very strong. I have only tested removal of a few small test pieces, and it sticks tight. I think that removal would be difficult, but it will hold up nicely. Ignore the reviews that say this isn't sticky or that it's hard to work with. Those reviewers clearly don't have enough experience using vinyl wrap. I think it's funny how some people's review of this product is bad.. some are saying it's not sticky.. some are saying other negative things.. well I got news for ya... It's user error and maybe you should learn how to lay down vinyl before you give a bad review of product that is really good.. I've bought several roles for accents on my Lexus RCF.. a couple of those roles were wasted because of MY mistakes which s going to happen when your working with vinyl especially if your a perfectionist like myself .. so if your looking at buying a good quality vinyl especially in a chrome finish... teckwrap s the one.. super happy with this product.. and the shine lasts in cold wet weather and will not peel up... way better then vivvid vinyl which will fade in a couple of weeks... disregard the negative reviews of this product because of the people using it don't know how!!!     • Not true to size.
I purchased this trying to make a sign for my sisters gender reveal. They say it’s 11.5 x 60 but it comes in smaller. It’s 11.5x55. Y’all might be saying “oh that’s only .05 of a difference” well yeah! Don’t advertise for x60 if you’re actually selling x55. If you’re at the store and you don’t have the $$ they won’t let you leave with your items. ... show more

    • Before you say it's not sticky!
When I first used this was about to embarrass myself and complain about it not being sticky. So glad I read other reviews and actually read the product description! I cut the vinyl with a Silhouette Cameo and it cut perfectly. NO it's not sticky when you first take it off of the backing, but that's because it's made for installations for cars and large surfaces. Once you place the vinyl and then leave it alone for a few days it's stuck on there for good. I put it on a glass water bottle and after 3 days I tried pick at it to see if the stickiness was still as loose as when I first put it on. Nope, it was actually difficult for me to peel it up... meaning you need to let it cure before you say the vinyl isn't sticky. No it's not permanent and can be removed, but it will take some effort. I also love that it is very thin compared to other rose gold adhesive I've purchased before. ... show more

    • Getting shorted on product, 3 times
EDIT: I was shorted on the roll about 3 or 4 times in a row. The product itself is great, but the rolls are all cut at sizes that are random to within 1/4 of an inch. I finally had to report them for having an inaccurate description considering the first roll was clearly not a mistake. As I said, the vinyl is great, but when you're working with a Silhouette Cameo 2 you need either 9" or 12" rolls. Anything in between is troublesome because of the design of the rollers. I probably wasted a whole roll of material because of bad cuts from the rollers slipping because the rollers can only be placed at intervals supporting 9 or 12 inches. If you have the rollers set for 9" and the roll is 11.4 or 11.5 then the roll will slip, turn, and your cuts will just be horribly ruined. Solid vinyl, but someone is terrible at marketing. Great product but i have been repeatedly shorted on the roll width. This roll is not 12 inches. It is about 11.4 to 11.6 inches. 3 orders in a row i have had the same experience each time. I will bot order again if it happens again. 3 times might be a mistake but if it happens again it is intentional. I have a machine which requires either a 9 inch or 12 inch roll. The rollers on the machine are set to the wodth of the roll but only have options for 9 or 12... nothing in between. I tried to make it work, but it causes a lot of discards... and i dont really like being shorted on product repeatedly. 3 stars. 1 star if it happens again. ... show more
