This is my first Bluetooth mouse. I like not having to occupy a USB port, but there are a few issues. For one, the mouse just stops now and then, albeit briefly. You'll be moving along only to realize that the cursor hasn't moved. But it quickly recovers. For me, that's a minor issue, but for a gamer I would imagine it's bad news. The other issue is one that really irks me. Leave things alone for a few minutes, and the mouse goes to sleep. I actually like that feature, as I presume it preserves battery life. The big problem is waking it up. Moving the mouse does not wake it up! The only way I've found to wake it up is to click a button. That means you'd better remember to leave the cursor in a safe spot, since waking up the mouse will trigger an unwanted action if you don't. Not happy about that! I'll probably replace this one, once I can be sure that moving the mouse will wake it up. Update: It's getting worse! Freezes constantly. Junk! Dropping the rating to 2 stars. (If there's a secret to getting this mouse to behave, the manufacturer had better reveal it ASAP.) Update #2: Now it just stopped. Seriously? Dropping to 1 star, but it deserves 0 stars. I bought this mouse to replace a Logitech M510 that I lost, and didn't want to spend that much money again. While I do love the quality and feel of this mouse at such a great price, I have a gripe with it. The mouse feels comfortable to use, it's very sturdy but still lightweight, and after buying this I no longer see the point is spending 2-3x as much on a Logitech mouse. However, the bluetooth functionality is glitchy and frustrating to deal with. No matter what I do, every time I close my laptop or shut it down, the mouse completely unpairs with it. EVERY time I go to use my laptop, I have to pair it again. Although it only takes a moment, it's mildly infuriating to do this every single time. I have tried 2 other bluetooth mice on the same laptop that don't have this problem. It's isolated to this particular mouse. I do like this brand a lot, and purchased a couple more for other devices in my house, but I chose not to go with the bluetooth versions. Update: seller is very friendly and communicative, and reached out to make it right. Bumping up rating bases on their great customer service. ... show more

The Technet mouse works everywhere, on the arm of a plaid pattern cloth couch, on the arm of a wood chair, on my jeans, on top of my head.........everywhere Ive tried. Going through the comments you'll read numerous people complaining about the absolutely horrible "sleep" function of this mouse, and then you'll read others claiming they have no problems with the sleep functionality and it wakes with the slightest movement.. Most people are attributing this to the COLOR of the mouse, but rest assured it has nothing to do with the color (ie.. buying the "gray" one doesn't mean you're going to get one that has a decent sleep functionality).. It has to do with the VERSION of the mouse.. Look at the box on the UPC sticker when you receive it.. if it says "V2" on the box, don't even bother opening it because it is literally UNUSABLE... Tecknet needs to throw the V2 in the garbage and go back to selling the original version which actually wakes up when you slightly move the mouse. The V2 requires you to click a button on the mouse, and even then, there is a significant delay which, in my opinion AND the opinion of so many people complaining about this same issue with the sleep mode, makes it completely unusable.. This is a perfect example of getting what you pay for.. previously.. it was an exception to the rule, and a perfectly good mouse for the money. Now, with the V2, I wouldn't even give it the credit of calling it a paperweight and I'll be returning it.. If the company can't send me the original version, then I'll simply buy a different mouse.. probably a logitech seeing as I've NEVER had any problem with them like this. ... show more

    • Good mouse but sleep mode is terrible!

Ok, I’ve had owned the same mouse before but with different color “gray” if be precise. Model is the same BM308. And sleep mode was working perfectly, after some time you just need to move the mouse and everything works fine no discomfort. Even with gaming. So, unfortunately, I broke my old mouse by dropping it several times)) and decided to buy another one but with different color which is “black” or even shiny black because it polished like. Now the sleeping mode is just crazy, first of all I need to click on the button to wake it after several minutes. Secondly it disconnects from Bluetooth occasionally and then start blinking and connects again. This can be really annoying if you gaming or browsing. Although it happens like one or two times within a day. Seems like mouse color is not just a color is also a different hardware behavior! Don’t buy the black one! Also, you can see that the price is a little lower than other colors. Now I understand why)))) ... show more
