  • Sturdy, great looking and not that bad to assemble
Size: Hex Monitors
What I like? 1. Very sturdy two pole design 2. Standard t-slot lets you mount lots of accessories if you're familiar with t-slot 3. Attractive design with lots of fine adjustments 4. Unlike most other multi monitor systems, this lets me place my desk wishing 1/2 inch of the wall What I don't like 1. It's a bit on the expensive side...I made $200 with tax included. I do think it's worth it if aesthetics is important 2. I find assembly easy, but I'm familiar with t-slot systems. Be very patient and make sure you measure out everything so they line up. Lots of fine adjustment and you can line all the monitor up perfectly despite the upslope of the arms. But be very patient if you're OCD. I used this mount with 6 x 27 inch monitors. The 27 inch monitors are really perfect for this system. It spans the center poles perfectly. I read another reviewer's suggestion to mount the cross bars behind the pole...brilliant idea to save a couple of inches of desk space. Overall, if you like good looks and have lots of time to assemble, and you value space on your desk and room...this is an excellent choice. ... show more

  • Yes buy this instead
Size: Hex Monitors
Holy crud monkies on toast this thing is amazing!!!! Extremely well built and simple to put together. A bit bulky overall but its all metal except for a few non load pieces. My poor desk had to be modified in order for me to full connect it but it works well. The directions are easy to read and even if u didn't read them u could figure it out. It looks great and I wouldn't change a thing. Do keep in mind that it is very tall but fits the 27" monitor nicely with no sagging. Can't wait to add the other 4 monitors soon. ... show more

  • Sturdy, but a pain to put up
Size: Hex Monitors
While I don't yet have all 6 monitors for this mount, it does seem to be made of pretty high quality parts. The only part I have an express problem with is the screw to secure the horizontal arms. The arms hold onto the vertical stands by using a screw to tighten a plate that grips the stands. The problem is that the screws feel too short to be useful. You need to remove them almost entirely from the plate to be able to move the arms up and down toward the bottom of the stands, and if the plate falls out from the screws on either side of the arms, you need to take the whole arm off and re-attach the plate to the screws. If the plate falls off the arm on the bottom, you'll need to remove both arms entirely from the stands to get the plate back out and reattach them. There is definitely space for the screws to be larger, which would vastly improve the experience of putting them on, because it took me 2 hours to get it where it is now, and I know I'll need to adjust the arms when I get more monitors, and that's just not something I'm looking forward to doing. The 15 degree tilt to the left and right arm feels a little insufficient for my current monitors, but they are on the low-end of the size that this mount is intended for, so it may be an issue of what equipment I have. Otherwise, I think this mount is pretty nice. It's one of the few 6-monitor mounts to begin with, but practically the only one I could find that has 2 vertical supports. I was not keen on the idea of having 6 monitors held up from a single point on my desk. Having two makes me much more confident that the desk won't break, or the mount won't fail under the weight. Pros: - Sturdy! - Fits 6 monitors - 2 Vertical stands to distribute the weight of the mount and monitors attached - Cable management brackets included - Easily adjust the position, angle, and tilt of any of the monitors. - No need for a screwdriver. The mount comes with 3 sizes of Allen keys that are used with the screws. Cons: - Setup can be a big pain. Some of the screws should be longer to make it easier. - The vertical stands need to be a specific distance apart with very little margin for error. - Putting one of the arms on and moving it to the bottom prevents you from adding the second arm because the top of the stands bend inward ever so slightly, and as noted above, there is very little margin for error in inserting the arms. - Some screws for the side arms require a pretty exact fit as well, and if you put the screws in the "wrong order" or make previous ones too tight, you're gonna have a bad time. Overall, while setup is a pain, that will likely be the case for many mounts of this size. Plus, you do setup once and then you don't need to worry about it, so overall it's not *that* big of an issue. ... show more

There is no way to describe how good this bracket is. Excellent quality. The only this I would improve is the flexibility of the external arms. Overall 10 ⭐

  • Nearly a 'Stand'-Up Product
Size: Hex Monitors
For two (2) years I have been searching for an integrated product that would allow me to hang all three (3) 27" curved monitors in a way to create a continuous arc (as current ultra-wides just don't have enough visual real estate yet). I purchased this solution after trying another hanger which turned out to be 1-2" off in width on each side and a triple-set of singular articulating arms with gas shocks (the typical go-to for those of us using these setups) which didn't last very long. After attempting to lobby Ergotron to build me a custom-made single-mounted articulating arm to no avail (they wouldn't do it for anything less than 100x quantity, completely oblivious to the amount of us that have this same setup and potential profit margin), I finally came across this product. THE GOOD: The product is very well machined and the assembly is surprisingly easy. Would recommend your own tools, but you can use the included hex keys to get this thing put together. The finish is very professional and the tracking on the arms is solid with zero initial sag, even with the weight of monitors attached. There are some slight inconsistencies in terms of alignment of the hinges, but it's nothing to write home to mother about. I have room to mount three (3) 27" Samsung CJG56 Curved monitors side-by-side with still even more expansion of about 6" outward left to go--that's a HUGE accomplishment comparative to their competitors. THE BAD: While I am able to fit all three (3) monitors on this mounting system, there are two (2) major drawbacks. First, the VESA hinging is far too bulky. In their attempt to make these capable of being adjusted in any direction, they didn't take into account the fact that the hinges are super bulky pushing a monitor deep into the desktop real estate one wants to protect and/or open-up with a mounting solution like this--that was bad design. The second issue is equally if not more critical, however. The hinged arms have a nubbin-indention that keeps the arm from pivoting too far forward or backward. The problem with this design, versus say a tension design, is that it significantly limits the ability of the monitor to be brought forward to marry up to the bezel of the center monitor. That tells me one thing--this entire product was never designed to accommodate curved monitors. Each side monitor sits roughly 1.5" behind the center monitor, creating a very odd and uncomfortable viewing experience. THE UGLY: The reality is that because the arms cannot completely go forward, I cannot complete the continuous arc needed, especially with the massive VESA hinge holding up the center monitor that is pushing it way-forward into my personal space. Therefore, I will have to customize this myself using a portable Dremel 8220 and a carbide-tip deburring head to chew out that channel further or remove the edge of the nubbin to be able to bring those two (2) side monitors forward. Hopefully in future iterations of the design, the company fixes this design flaw that prevents those of us using curved monitors properly. I shouldn't have to make such modifications as an end-user, but it is what it is. Considering the inconvenience this creates and the potential issues in terms of appearance that come from the modifications, I rated the product middle-road. It's a great product for anyone with flat monitors, but for for those of us using curved monitors, you're going to be disappointed initially without some moderate difficulty modifications and tools. ... show more
