I had a small corner desk in my home recording studio that I had outgrown and decided on this one. What a surprise! This desk is everything and more! First off the low price does not reflect the quality of the desk. It's a top notch piece of furniture that's built to last. Once assembled it is solid as a rock. Fit and finish of the pieces is perfect. The assembly instructions are well written and easy to follow. It took me around 6 hours to put it together and I didn't run into any problems along the way. Lot's of room available in the drawers and storage areas. Over all I am very impressed with this item and would highly recommend it. Just one small cautionary note. Pay close attention to the screws and don't lose any! They only give you the exact amount necessary for assembly. They really ought to throw in a few extras just in case a screw somehow disappears! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Don’t get me started on this desk.... IT’S REMARKABLE! Sorry to mislead you in the beginning but wow, I cannot stop raving about this desk and I have had multiple compliments on it in just a couple weeks since bullring it! Previously I was using a dresser as a desk and the worst part of that was having nowhere to put my legs under...NOT ANYMORE!! This thing has so much leg room my legs never are tensed up or uncomfortable! I can’t stretch them out as much as I want while still being near the desktop and I’m 6’3”! It’s a very sturdy desk but I was alone when putting it together (which is actually pretty easy!) so I added an extra screw in certain integral areas which made this thing as locked down as Fort Knox. No signs of wobbles or swaying here! The desk is also very thick wood and just feels strong. I have no worries about it not living a good long life! I am so thrilled with this desk. Just so nice. Classy, functional, modern and cool. This desk is perfect for office use or in home like me! Can’t recommend it enough, 11/10!!! ... show more

It does take a long time to put together, but the directions were pretty great, with pictures and words. I typically get extremely frustrated with assembling furniture and refuse to buy from IKEA because they don’t give directions in words. However, for a pretty cheap desk this really had great directions. The desk doesn’t look or feel cheap at all but the price was great. It comes in two boxes and the boxes are fairly heavy, but I (average shape 39yr old) got it up the steps without much effort. My only very minor complaint, which isn’t hidden by the manufacturer or anything as the provide accurate dimensions , is that I wish the right side of the L had the same depth as the left side. For the price, I fully expected that I would “kind of” put it together, use it for a while and then throw it away! It came in two heavy boxes (arrived separately), the boxes were somewhat beat up, but the content was not damaged. All the (seemed like a 1000) parts were marked which made the assembly easier. The particle board seemed flimsy (and it is!). But the instructions were easy to follow and after 4 hrs (I took my time) I have an amazing desk that looks good and feels sturdy enough to last a few years! Amazingly, I had no extra parts and I was not missing anything. All holes lined up perfectly! I used some wood glue on some of the joints that I felt would be weak. If you do this, make sure that you know exactly what you are putting together as you would have a hard time taking it apart after the glue dries. Whoever designed this, my hat is off to you. Made a stable structure out of some really flimsy material. Great value for the price. ... show more

I skipped the step putting on the front skirt/panel and it’s fine. Allows my clients to sit on the other side of the desk comfortably and didn’t make it less sturdy. Love the desk in my office. The bottom drawer falls out but that could be my fault. Not sure. I was able to assemble it by myself in a few hours with a small drill. ... show more
