    • Way better than the other styles out there
There are two basic styles of these hoists, the other has a crank. Both have the same style ribbon but the summit is self-retracting so you don't have to sit in the tree stand with a big mess in your lap cranking the ribbon up. The self-retraction ensures the ribbon does not twist when it is winding up. Second the Summit's clip on the backside of the device is outstanding. It is super strong and there is no chance it could ever accidentally slip off a bag strap or belt. This is a lot larger than the other style but that is no big deal at all. It's like a big tape measure. One thing to note is the tiny carabiner style clip is garbage and should be replaced. Doesn't matter it is still worth it since the clips on all different brands are the same garbage. ... show more

I gave this two stars because it does seem to work. It also adds alot of weight, takes up alot of room and makes a ton of noise etc. I recommend this if you want to give the deer your exact coordinates
