Features
- Wonderfully Detailed Model: Our V8 engine model kits are an ideal introduction to engineering and mechanics, featuring genuine precision-cast and machined parts. Made from anodized aluminum and stainless steel, each piece is accurate, detailed, and mirrors assemblies found in modern, high-performance automobile engines. The model, even when static, is a stunning representation of mechanical engineering.
- Complete Accessories for Assembly:The kit boasts over 500 parts, each finely crafted, labeled, and organized in custom foam carriers to ensure they are complete and undamaged. A clear, full-color instruction manual accompanies the kit. Despite the engine's complexity, the step-by-step instructions ensure a fulfilling assembly experience with patience.
- Simulation Model:A highlight of this kit is its functioning simulation. A real electric motor within the starter motor housing propels the V8 engine through its 4-stroke process. Special viewing windows allow observation of the crankshaft, rods, pistons, intricate valve-trains, chains, pulleys, and other accessories. This feature demonstrates the coordination of moving parts, making the model not just educational but also visually impressive.
- An Excellent Learning Activity:Recommended for supervised use by children over the age of 14 due to small parts, this kit offers a great opportunity for adults and children to collaborate. It encourages children to understand and follow instructions, manipulate parts and tools, and experience the satisfaction of completing a complex task. This process fosters an appreciation for modern technology and its continuing evolution.
- Gift Idea:The V8 engine kit comes packaged in a colorful, durable metal gift box, ensuring its safe arrival and presenting beautifully as a gift. This makes it an ideal choice for anyone with an interest in mechanical engineering and model building.
