I ordered 5 of these mats, one to be used for stray cats. So far, our cats seems to like them. The temperature control takes a bit of getting used to. I have found that setting the temperature at 116F seems to be comfortable for our indoor cats. This seems high, but the insulation on the mat and low weight (no more than 12lbs) of the cats keeps the mats from becoming unbearable. I enjoy the time selections as well. Since this allows for 24 hours of continuous heating, I do not have to constantly turn on the mat used for the stray cats.

Unboxed and noticed the plastic on the screen was very worn, but tried it anyway. Plugged it in and set the temp to the lowest temp,86, the pad didn’t seem to warm up, increased to 91 but still didn’t seem to warm up, 96 the same, 101room temp, 106…. And I decided to stop. I gave the pad hours to warm up and nothing. Product doesn’t work.
