I love tech21 I only keep tech21 on my phone BUT this one highly disappointed me. I wanted a Smokey black just like I did for my 12 I had this Smokey black was more of a navy blue. I’m not a fan of blue.

The other reviews that talked about a bad fit on the power button almost scared me off. But mine is a perfect fit. I didn’t mess with the colored buttons they sent and put it straight on the phone. It was an exact fit. Maybe there was a bad batch at some point? My last Tech21 case was for an iPhone XS. This one is the same tight fit. As others have stated, the case doesn't quite fit, however, after a few days on the phone, it starts to conform and now it fits pretty good. At $40 I expect better, but I'm happy enough to not return it. Still, it falls short of Tech 21's typical standard. Edit: It's been about a month since I wrote the above review, and I thought I'd provide an update ... Dropped it down the stairs and when I got out of my car, it fell off my lap onto the pavement. Did its job and there isn't a scratch on my display or camera. It also fits a lot better, snug but it's a perfect fit! Buttons are sturdy and clicky, doesn't scratch very easily, and it's got a good grip to it. One of my favorite attributes, and a big reason I always choose Tech21, is cause there's no visible branding which annoys me and is a non-starter. ... show more

Just got this delivered today. Within a minute of putting the case on, I noticed it wasn't snug on the right side, particularly next to the power button as I could feel it move when I had it on my phone after I squeezed the right side. Looking from the bottom of my phone to the top with the screen facing up, I could tell that it wasn't perfectly straight on the right side and I could see that case wasn't fully covering the metal side. The attached picture shows this and you can see light reflecting off the metal. I'm not too worried about this, but it is something that will probably bother me for a while, but I may forget about it. I'd definitely avoid purchasing this if I knew this would be an issue. I don't know if this was an oversight after it was produced or a product defect, but this it the first review of this case for the 14 Pro Max on Amazon so I'm not sure if others will have this issue. ... show more
