Dropped my phone 4 times on concrete. The kind where it launches out of your hand to do a 10.0 floor routine. Only after the final performance, the clip of the holster broke off.

My last iPhone was destroyed by a drop of less than 2 feet, and it was in a tech 21 case about as thick as this. I bought this new Tech 21 Evo Max case for my new phone because it said rugged and ultra protective, but it is not significantly different than my old Tech 21 case, so back it goes. C'mon guys, this is not heavy duty protection. The good stuff: It's comfortable and grippy without being sticky like rubber, slips into your pocket easily, the buttons are responsive, easy to feel where they are, easy to see where they are. I ordered this for my Iphone 13 mini. The case seems to be well made and of good quality. I can see there was some QC going on which is always good. The case is a little stiff to get on the phone which I think is good. I expect that sort of thing for something that is new. The camera slide door works well and click into place in either position with a nice tactile click. The buttons are also tactile. You can definitely tell where they are and when you press them. They are very responsive also. A note for Tech21 - I had another one of your cases for a One Plus 8 I believe and the case had interchangeable buttons. That would have been an awesome feature and made this case even better! ... show more

Love all things Tech 21, have been using that brand since 2014. I love the fact that the case has a sliding feature that protects camera lens when not taking pictures. The buttons are very responsive and are textured; case is dark color, but buttons are orange and easy to see.
