As usual, great case by Tech21. The case itself has a somewhat rubbery/flexible feel, but once put on the phone it feels super sturdy. I saw some reviews state that the case was a bit slippery, but I find that it has the same grip as my old Tech21 case that I used on my 7-Plus, which was a big relief. Furthermore, I was a little hesitant to buy the case at first because I was worried that the "x" marks on the back would be a little bit too pronounced. However, once I put the case on the phone, the "x" marks on the back kind of faded away a touch and blended in nicely to the back of the phone (have a Pacific Blue model btw). Unfortunately the first day I purchased, the corner lifted up and chipped. The piece did not fall off so I had to slice it off so I would not mistakenly scratch myself or others. Could definitely be finished a bit more durably but overall protects the device.

I have always been a fan OtterBox cases for phones. Those cases are the absolute best at protecting your phone from drops and resulting breaks. The only downside is the bulk that is added to the phone. I purchased a Tech21 case for my iPhone X a few years back and loved the color and the slimness of the case. It also did a fantastic job of protecting the phone. I recently bought a 12 Pro Max and the Tech21 Evo cover for it. The case is slim and does a great job of protecting the phone. It keeps the front screen and the camera lenses from touching flat surfaces. I have (unfortunately) already dropped my phone a couple of times and the case has done its job extremely well. I would (and do) recommend Tech21 cases. They are fantastic! ... show more

Good case, easy to install and feels good in your hand. Not overly bulky but feels solid. Have not dropped my phone, yet, so unable to verify it’s durability at this time.

I purchased a case (Smokey/Black) in Jun-2021. A first time tech21 purchaser. The case fits the iPhone 12 Pro Max well, is comfortable to handle and has protected the iPhone from a couple of unfortunate 5-6 foot drops onto concrete and asphalt pavements. I clean the iPhone and case surfaces regularly using only wet clothes and disinfecting wipes. There are now permanent "smudges" on the external backside of the case. Perhaps from a chemical reaction? Be mindful of your cleaning agents! While the case is functional, the aesthetics are impaired. ... show more

Received this yesterday 10/24/22 and the quality seems to have gone down hill drastically! Fits my phone perfectly but when I got the package it had clearly been either used or returned. The box was damaged and the case had a white coating with finger prints all over it. For the price I wasn’t going to complain but it feels so cheap compared to my older Tech21 cases and the fingerprints all over it for a “new” product isn’t acceptable. ... show more
