    • What I expected, though packaging on 50 and 100 ft was poor choice.

The flat cardboard packing of the 100ft and 50ft is terrible. You're not going to "unspool" it, you will hold it and let the cord come off from the side. This means that it twists. Untwisting 100ft of cord is not fun. You could try to unspool it by flipping the cardboard over, and over, and over..., but you won't, not unless you are only trying to get 1 or 2 ft. I noticed someone else saying that the internal strands shrink more than the external. This is why I don't normally write reviews so soon after purchasing something. Only doing so the seller can reconsider the packing style. This will be used for something in my car, if the inside shrinks, it will cause tension on what it's holding and also wrinkle the outer part. I hope that doesn't become an issue. ... show more

I had no idea there are some products that are nothing like the 550 grade product they claim to be. I can't attest to the products pull test score or exactly what its made of but it does work as a crafting cord. Right after buying this I got another brand that was more like a cotton blend and went flat on use. If some one was to start out with such a inferior brand it could make them think its all the same and very hard to use. I assume this brand is good in other colors but I only bought black so far and approve of its properties in use. ... show more
