This bag was about $100 when I bought it. It has a very large internal compartment, 3 pockets on the left and right outside sides, and one on the top and bottom for a total of 8 external pockets, 1 large internal compartment, and a mesh pocket on the flap inside. The inside is lined in a vinyl like material, and the stitching and material is as durable as they come. If packed right it's very comfortable. Have used it for many camping trips and although I havent walked for more than 30ish minutes at a time with it, its fairly comfortable. A waist strap would probably be the only thing that could improve this bag. You can fit a LOT of stuff in here. Ive fit my tent, sleeping bag, thin blanket, camping chair, clothes and a gallon of water inside, and food and other materials in the outside pockets. Have not had it in the rain yet so cant speak on that. The inside compartment should be okay as its all lined in that vinyl like material. Seems well made, love the exterior pockets for small stuff you don't want "wandering" around in your bag. The 100L is cavernous; fits my waders, wading boots, fly vest, and two weeks of clothing/stuff for a varied weather pattern.

Perfect man-sized duffel. Several ways to carry. External pockets are why I chose it. Zippers good. Strength good. Water resistant inner lining (not waterproof of course).
