This is a very nice handheld gaming system for kids or even adults. It appears to be made well. It has a power switch at the top. It also has charging port for you to charge it or you can run it off of batteries on the bottom. It has many games. Most of them are after market games based off of old school games we played as kids like Tetris, Mario, or Galatica; you will find these games under different names but it’s the same thing. This would be perfect for any child to keep them occupied on trips. This is also a perfect gift for any kid that has been wanting a handheld gaming system that may be to young to spend hundreds of dollars on one. It fits nicely in the hand. I wish all toys that need power would be rechargeable. The directions focus on the Soduku game. The other games are easy enough to figure out even for this grandmother. I need practice on the controls, but I'm sure a child could operate this without a problem. There are so many games to choose from. The Three Rabbits game has the image of Bugs Bunny for those of you who are old enough to remember him. There are sound effects that can be silenced if desired. This is a neat handheld device. This comes with absolutely no instructions to play the 218 games it supposedly has. The instruction packet only shows how Sudoku is played. For the rest of the games you are on your own to figure out how to play each one. Some of them I recognize from similar games I used to play in my younger days at the arcade. Others are completely confusing. A lot of the games seem to be different versions of the same game (matching pairs, lining up 3-in-a-row). The matching pairs games are extremely frustrating as the buttons don't behave as you would expect. The little button just to the top right of the screen will shut you down if you accidently bump it, which I unfortunately did several times. Many of the games take a lot of thought and strategy to complete which makes this unsuitable for children and young teens. Overall, not a good choice for any age group in my opinion ... show more
