Love the style of this kitchen but wanted to make some changes. I customized it for our daughter and think it came out pretty cute. It was fairly easy to assemble if you just take your time and pay attention to the instructions. If you use a drill be sure to take it nice and slow because the holes strip out somewhat easy. The clear plastic on the cabinets and microwave came slightly scratched but it doesn’t look too bad. All in all, I think it’s perfect for our little girl (almost 2 yo).     • Best toy kitchen on the market. Hands down.
I’m so pleased with the quality, size, and design of this kid sized kitchen. The wood is sturdy and dense- it has a deep sound when knocked on. There’s no dents or chips. The paint is smooth and I haven’t found any areas that are bare. All three doors and the microwave open sideways which is much better than a pull down door (like an oven) which breaks when kids sit on them. All the doors have metal pins (not plastic) that hold them in place. Their is also a space between the oven burners and sink for the kids to “prepare” their food- almost no other play kitchens have a space to do this. I added adhesive hooks to the backsplash and metal baskets to the side for foot and utensil storage. There is plenty of space to hold all the toys inside the kitchen. My son is 1 1/3 yrs old and 27inches tall and is able to play with this with no trouble and reach the sink handles. He loves taking the sink in and out of the countertop. If I wanted to I’d be able to easily glue it down so it wouldn’t come out but I’m leaving it. The blue and white is such a classic combination and makes playtime much more colorful. It’s beautiful but not as sturdy as the pottery barn ones. Very modern and chic looking and it wasn’t even difficult to put together. My husband put it together by himself in less than 45 minutes with a drill and he didn’t complain. There was no missing or damaged pieces and the blue color is quite vibrant and pretty. The unit as a whole is a little too movable for my taste which is why I give it 4 stars. If a child is very aggressive I do worry it would tip over on them. I had my husband fasten it to the wall for that reason. The pottery barn ones don’t move at all but the set is also upwards of $800. So for the $167 I spent on this I’m not complaining but just a warning for the moms that it would be a deal killer for...yes it does “move”. It came with a couple nice stainless pots and pans and spatula. The faucet is a really nice brushed gold color. I love the design I just wish it was heavier so it didn’t shift. And I wish they made a fridge for it. ... show more

I love how cute this kitchen is, even before I added my own backsplash. It’s simply beautiful and I’ve received a lot of compliments on it. On the other hand the amount of time it took to assemble this was very time consuming. There were a couple of predrilled holes that weren’t in the correct place. The instructions were a just a tad bit difficult. But once you figure it out and put it together..... it’s totally worth it. I can’t express again how beautiful this kitchen is. This kitchen is made out of great material. It’s very sturdy. I would know, because my girls are hard on all their toys. They’ve slammed the doors, slammed objects on the kitchen, and more. The paint hasn’t chipped. They are no dents. It’s definitely holding its own. The kitchen comes with a cutting board, telephone, and some pots and pans. Which are all sturdy and life like. I would definitely recommend this kitchen to any parents of future cooks. ... show more

Bought for my 3.5 & 1.5 year olds and they love it. I'd read previous reviews that it was poor quality and difficult to assemble, but with the right tools (power drill = SUPER HELPFUL) and patience it was relatively easy to assemble. I laid out all of the pieces prior to starting and went carefully through the instructions (I've been known to go too quickly through things like this and make mistakes) and it took maybe an hour from start to finish? Maybe a little over an hour? I spray-painted the sink basin gold to match the hardware, and copied what I'd seen on Pinterest with a stick-on battery-powered light, which the kids love. I spent a long time comparing play kitchens and wanted one that both kids could play with together, and also one that wasn't too short for my tall toddlers, and this one fits well. My daughter pretends the bottom cabinets are a washing machine and dishwasher, too. The whole thing is super cute! Both kids love it and play with it almost daily (I gave it to them about 2 months ago). Highly recommend. ... show more

    • Scratches in paint and a challenge to put together
Ours came with a few scratches . This is such a cute kitchen that looks a lot like our kitchen with navy island and white subway backsplash ....so we decided to buy it ! My husband who is very good at putting furniture together said this was “very hard and tedious to but together “ he said the directions were not clear and he ended up putting the cute subway tile board on the wrong way causing the tile to be on the backside . He also attached the backing with the faucet facing the wrong way so the kids can not turn it the correct way. He has put many many items and furniture together in the past with no difficulties . He is very handy . He said this was a challenge ! The finished product came with defects so it has knicks and parts with paint missing although it is brand new and looks a few years old already. The positives are the kids love it! It’s a good size ... it is still cute and fun for the littles! I would make sure soon after arrival that the items are not chipped or damaged and take extra time and help to put together looking at the pictures online ...otherwise I would have gave 5 stars ! ... show more

Love the look of the kitchen but has flaws. Some pieces came scratched and holes were drilled in the wrong place. Wish they’d be more careful when packaging. Wouldn’t recommend because of the scratches and misplaced holes.
