Nice fountain for my deck to help drown out traffic noises. The small birds enjoy taking a quick drink or bath in it too. Because of that, I do have to clean it very few weeks but that is a small annoyance.

Update 8/31/18: I am pleased to report that the seller has stood by their product. They had offered me an immediate replacement at no cost to me. However, I was really just interested in getting the missing pump/LED light. I had already repainted the fountain and installed it and really didn't want to go thru the hassle of uninstalling it and repacking it. Therefore, the seller reimbursed me for the cost of a new pump/LED light for the unit. (The manufacturer said that the pump was on a lengthy back order status...) That was sufficient to make me a happy customer. Upgraded to 4 stars. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Original Review ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The only thing we like is the shape and the way the water trickles down...until the last step which is jarring. I was able to make that less of an impact on the ears ;) I agree with another reviewer about the paint job/color of the unit itself. Has a definite purple/reddish tone that looks unfinished. Fortunately, I can just spray paint it black to fix that problem. But I shouldn't have needed to. But the worst part was the provided pump. It couldn't even lift the water from the bottom pan high enough to fill the top 'bowl' so that it could spill over into the second bowl, etc. Very, very disappointing. That was the first thing that made me consider returning the entire thing. However, I had a few pumps left over from other water features I have purchased in the past. BTW, I did check to make sure the provided pump was set at its highest setting *and* that the tube from it to the top bowl was clear of obstructions. Next to worse was that a part of the upper structure was cracked at a corner and missing a piece about 1 inch by 1/8 of an inch of material...though the packing (styrofoam) showed no evidence of any sort of impact nor did the box it came in. So I must assume it was that way when shipped. Part of the broken piece was still in the box...that, along with some black caulk, enabled me to make the repair that was the second thing that stopped me from returning the item. To wrap it up, if I had known these sort of things would be an issue, I surely wouldn't have placed the order. However, since it is a 3rd party vendor, I really didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it since I could 'make good' on what I expected... UPDATE: Lowered the review to 1 star. I have now realized that not only did we get the wrong pump (NOT JR-250), but we didn't even get the LED light that is mentioned in the description. The pump enclosed (that doesn't even lift the water to the top bowl) was a YH(PT)-808MIX. No wonder...

I just received fountain today. It arrived on a delayed basis (2) days. Packaged well, no damage, everything intact. Quite simple setup. No assembly required. The look is classy and sophisticated. Looks more expensive than actual cost. Appears to be constructed well. No visible leaks as of yet. I added stones for more soothing sound and appearance. I am satisfied with purchase thus far. Would recommend purchasing.
