Something I didn’t realize was that these dryer vents, or I should say the typical silver ones, have jumped in price to where it’s almost an investment to buy one. These were a better price and they are better quality. In addition, I was able to get one in gray and one in black because I live in an apartment and wanted to differentiate between the two so people don’t “accidentally “use each other’s machines. I really am happy with this purchase because they feel more sturdy and look a lot better. Skip the big box stores in their over priced clones. Go with these.

Vent hose worked perfectly. I only needed about 3.5 feet, so I imagined I would be cutting it. That was not necessary as it expanded to the length required and held its shape like a custom fit. Did not have any trouble slipping it over the dryer or wall outlet vent pipes and clamping. 5-stars!

I needed to replace my dryer hose and I purchased a kit with an 8 foot hose. It turned out to be too short so I purchased this and it was the perfect length. I already had the outdoor vent kit so I just needed to attach this to the dryer and the vent. It was easy to attach. I used some electrical tape as well to hold it and then put the clamps over so it stays in place. The quality is great.

I had to put a cabinet in where my dryer duct is and it was forcing me to move the cabinet further away from the wall than I wanted. I found this hose and it is great. While I still have to have my cabinet out from the wall, the hose is now flat against the wall and makes for a much cleaner install. It is much easier to get on a fitting than rigid hoses. Also, it doesn't cave in like the aluminum ones and is easy to work with. I likened it to a slinky when installing. I can't speak to durability but all the other features have been top notch and it was the exact solution I needed.

We had to run this in a closet with an offset so it's much more exposed than normal. Hence the fact that I bought the insulated piping. Seems to work well at a good price.
