The anchor is a well made item. Its stainless tubing welded together and is sturdy and light. I was worried it might be a little too large to carry on the ski, but it fits well in the storage compartment. The included bag is nice, but that sharp front will soon poke thru the bag with all the bumping around on the ski. I tried this in my yard, it went into a sandy spot quite well with just a few jabs of my foot. (I'd wear shoes while pushing this into the sand). When I simulated a load by pulling on the rope at an angle - this held very nicely! I was surprised actually that such a little thing held so well. Pulling it out took a little work, but straight up it came out. I think this will hold a ski very well. My complaint is the rope. First, the color is going to be tough to see in salt water and there is no float on it. (you do not want to run over a rope with a jetski!) The carabiners are OK, they are aluminum and do lock, but stainless would be better. Overall, it will work as intended. I just will use a different rope with a float on it so it's visible in the water. But the anchor is small, light and holds well - all a big plus for a jetski. ... show more
