I’m typically a full face helmet kind of guy. But I wanted this for the hot SoCal summers. And it has fit the bill perfectly! The large fits well, as I’m typically a large in most helmets. The strap works just fine and doesn’t feel too cheap. The helmet is light weight, and padded well enough that it’s not being lifted by the wind. Overall it's a cheap helmet, but that was evident by the price so as I expected. The problem I had was it was too big for my head despite my head measurements falling in the window of the guide. Lots of cushioning and DOT approved for those of us living/riding in helmet states. The DOT cert is painted on the back of the helmet, not a decal, which is required in CA anyway. Can't beat it for the price either.

Seems pretty chintzy but functions. I guess it depends on how much you value helmets…. or your head. Just remember; “DOT“ approved simply means the manufacturer is required to test their own product, and if this came from overseas, well?
