I have insomnia and these are the best earplugs I have tried. Among the cheapest too. They do not hurt when I roll over on my side in bed. Very comfortable. The sound is great as most earbuds are. The battery last a long time. I know 6 or 7 hours. I have never had it die on me from a full charge yet to know accurately. I instantly bought another pair to keep in case something ever happen to the first pair. It does NOT have the magnets to keep from losing around you neck. I use bluetooth earbuds for 8-10 hours a day. I choose the teathered kind so I don’t lose them. Because the battery lasts 6 hours, I switch between two sets of earbuds, once through the day. Because of my harsh usage, they last about 6 months which is fine because they are cheap. These are one of the two brands I prefer. I like these because they are cheap, bright colors, good sound quality, and this model is lighter than other brands which makes it ideal for running. This brand has one problem. I paid about $6 for this headset. I've used it for approximately a month (3-5 times a week for a few hours at a time). I have had no complaints from others saying they couldnt' hear me when I use it for a voice call. I also listen to streaming content and the sound quality is fine. The only complaints I have are a) the rubber stopper for the charging port connection is difficult to get off. If you have really large hands and no fingernails, this may be impossible. b) the set comes with two sets (2 pairs) of rubbery ear buds in small and large. They're just ok. For someone with a bigger head/ears, these work great. I find the rubber stops (even the small ones) uncomfortable to wear after a few hours. The price point is great and so far they've held up ok. Since the charger is so hard to get in/out, I think this part of the cord will eventually need to be taped or otherwise secured since there is no good way to push/pull the charger connection cord. The charging cable is incredibly short (about 6 inches) and takes a long time to charge up. Once fully charged, the battery can last around 6 hours ish before needing to be recharged again (longer standby time). ... show more

Alright, WITH CAVEATS I'm going to update from four to five stars. The caveat is they are the only best perfect one for lying with your head on a pillow or in a tight hat! They do NOT have magnets to form a necklace, they do NOT have "stay-in-wings/ears", both of which are features I like. And they are squidgy to remove/insert because of the small conical profile. BUT... nothing else does the low-profile thing. I will always want these for using in bed. If I had to pick _one_ pair? Probably not this one, as I don't trust them to stay in for running. This is the best for lying with your head on its side on a pillow! *BUT*... So, next time I will get one of the models without oval ear canals (it makes them fit worse, not better, for me...), and I'll get ones with magnets, and I'll get ones with the little apostrophe/comma shaped hooks/wings that help when running. These are *so* light and small that they stay in pretty well anyway. They have a second "pod" which I assume doubles the battery life. So... -If you like "light and small" instead of "magnet and easy to grab", these are for you (magnets are for holding it into a necklace); -If you like "tiny and invisible, deep in the ear canal", these are for you. I haven't run the batteries down, but since they have a second pod, I trust them to have a *very* long battery life. They are *so* small and conical that they're honestly difficult to grip with the fingertips to adjust and insert and remove. But once in, they're fine. I'm not *unhappy* with them - but - I think that given the choice next time I'll get one with magnets, wings, circular canals, and probably have to suffer the shorter battery lives. Two more things! I have not used them for a phone conversation yet - I don't know how good the mic is. And, I think these may be the *perfect* headphones for lying in bed and still having your face into a pillow - they are so small. I really miss the magnetic feature that makes them stick to each other around your neck. One other drawback - they are *so* streamlined, they aren't easy to grab/insert/remove. Definitely *different*. I suspect some people will love these and some will get irritated. ... show more

Sadly, this earbud system is not as good as the TCL from two years ago. It just died a slow death, first the left side, then the right. Sigh. How I miss it. So the replacement is a lot cheaper, which would be a win, except it isn't. It doesn't have the "hook" to put the two cords together under your chin, so the sides flop around all over. Lucky for me, I'm not a runner and mostly wear these while gardening. The nice bright color means that if they fall out, I'll find them in the weeds--as long as I'm not in the purple and pink petunias. I listen to podcasts and the audio is really clear. I like that! But when the battery is still showing at 25% (on my iPhone), the buds start SCREAMING at me, "battery low." I don't like that. I'll deal with them until I find something better. Or I'll get used to the quirks. ... show more

These are the earbuds I have been looking for! They are light and fit comfortably in the ear. All the rest I have tried have long and heavy earbuds that stick out of the ear. These fit snug and flush with the ear. I can wear them with my head on a pillow or under hearing protectors. The controls are easy to use and seem well built. They sound as good or better than any others I have bought in this price range. My earbuds get used most of the work day and these have been a pleasure to use. ... show more

The sound quality isn't bad for a cheap pair of headphones but the microphone basically is nonexistent. If you don't ever plan on taking a call with them, fine. Otherwise, find a different brand. I'll be returning these.
