Put this up after our newish Samsung went completely black. We have TCL all throughout the house and have been using TCL for some time now. I’ve never been unhappy with them. I’m sure there are better brands out there but these are reliable and never been disappointed with the screen quality. We have had several 32”, a 65” and a 98” TCL. Very happy with all of them. This one (65”) has Fire TV (our older ones have Roku) and I like it but it doesn’t have Spectrum app but not end of the world. Initially plugged our Roku stick into this TV but for some reason the remote wouldn’t work well. (We were using the correct one - voice activating; our 98” has the same Roku stick and it works fine). So we just use Fire TV and it’s a nice change. I was able to use the existing wall TV mount but we had to get different size bolts since the holes on the TCL TV are smaller than the holes in the Samsung. ... show more

replaced a cheap 50 inch QVC TV that finally gave out after 4 years. Was using the alexa streaming box thingy, this tv replaced that but it does not access alexa via your voice and just saying "alexa" -you have to push a button on the remote to activate Alexa - meh, wife always had the box on mute anyways, so no worries. i hooked up the Nintendo Switch and Super Mario Bros Wonder blew my mind, looked amazing on the screen, the sound was OK, but we've always used a soundbar, so i hooked up the one we already had, watched our 1st 4K movie ( i think ) on Paramount+ "The Lost City", gonna test a few more 4k movies, (and cant wait to test a bluetooth headset) - but felt like i was at a movie theater, really nice colors, and keep in mind, for the price point, this TV cant be beat. ... show more

Perhaps it is just because I have never spent any time watching QLED or OLED, but I am really happy with the picture on this inexpensive LED TV. If like me, you have been watching less capable technology forever, I think you could like this TV too and save lots of money. I don't play action games so I can't rate the TV for game play. It is bright, the colors are good, and I am already familiar with the Fire TV interface so it is a comfortable environment for me. ... show more

TV was packaged well and easy enough to take out and mount. There was an option to preload my Amazon Prime Account which was nice; however, you do have to spend a few minutes waiting for the TV to update all of the other apps (netflix/hulu/etc.). Picture quality is great. Sound will get the job done; but highly recommend a sound bar or other external speakers. Hard to beat this for the money. ... show more

Size: 55 inches
This is a secondary unit placed in a home office and it’s used almost every day. The picture is quite sharp, excellent quality, bright colors and very good contrast, right out of the box, no additional adjustments were done. The sound, on the other hand, because of the smaller speakers, is a bit of the weaker side, requiring a higher adjustment, but once that is done, it sounds good and intelligible. The setup was quite easy, in just a few minutes being able to connect to the internet and getting access to all my favorite apps. The remote strongly resembles the one used by the Amazon stick and the TV is Alexa friendly. I haven’t tested that feature yet because I prefer to look for my own favorite apps and movies. The unit is quite light, easy to move around and the supporting plastic stands were very easy to install. Overall I am very happy with this TV and I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

    • Clear picture good size

The tv is getting three star because it has clear picture, lots of functionality and was very light and easy to install on my mount. If it wasn’t for that I’d give it a one star. However, it needs to be reset at least once daily (usually more) because it is very laggy, sometimes it gets so bad that you can’t watch a show without it buffering literally ever 3 seconds. It has a hardwired internet connection and it’s not my internet connection because when I switch to my ps5 to watch the same streaming service and show it works just fine. Often in the middle of the show the streaming service will just shut down. Then when you go back to the show you were watching, it won’t load just keeps going back to the Home Screen. The picture gets pixelated often when streaming. Again when my ps5 does not. The sound quality on the tv is meh could be better. I did not return because I do not want to deal with the return process as restarting it only takes about 30 seconds. I’ll deal with it until I have to buy a new tv as I game on it more than stream shows. I would recommend a different brand television. Spend the extra $60 to get something a little higher quality. Good picture quality for gaming and the gaming mode is pretty awesome. ... show more
