  • Great tv
Size: 55 inches
An amazing TV I love the sound and for my first high-end tv it's amazing and sounds great and I have felt more lag or jitters

  • Really good. Can't get much better
Size: 75 inches
The media could not be loaded. I upgraded the living room tv to this tcl fire 75 in q6 (75q650f) 2023 version, from a 75 in onn Roku TV from 2022. This new TCL is so much better in sound, and picture quality as far as the deepest black colors is very deep and the colors are vivid especially if you increase the color settings increased slightly. The picture is amazing. The only thing I like more about Roku than fire set up is the home screen is customizable and has much less ads. But the one Roku TV screen had 2 obnoxious dots parallel on both sides of the lower middle of the TV screen that you. Would see when white was displayed. Always hated that but that's how the TV was. Other than that the one roku was okay but the sound wasn't loud nor had good dimension and bass compared to this tcl and the color was much less colorful. I just wish this tcl would adjust the screen brightness based on the room lighting and an upgraded fire tv remote should have been provided. That's all. I bought it for 600$ before tax July 2024. ... show more

  • Fire TV is awful
Size: 65 inches
I didn't know that Fire TV is required to use this tv when I bought it. It's really awful and let me explain why. I connected my tv to WiFi and when I first turn on the tv, it says there's no connection. That's because it takes about 5-10 seconds for the tv to connect to the WiFi. However, the TV will just say "no connection" and none of the apps or channels will be available on the Home Screen - even after the connection has been made. A workaround is to press the Netflix button on the remote to force launch Netflix, then go back to the home menu, which will load correctly now. I have to do this every time I turn on the tv. Additionally, apps don't actually quit when you exit them, which is annoying. For one, if the app freezes, the only way to reset it is to unplug the tv for 3 minutes to reset the whole system. But also, if I open YouTube it will just autoplay whatever was playing when I closed the app because the app didn't actually quit. It would be more logical and efficient if the app reloaded to the home menu when I open it. Instead it just autoplays whatever video I watched 4 days ago. So whenever I open YouTube, I first have to press back several times so I can reach the home menu. To recap so far, if I'm sitting on the couch and want to search a music video on YouTube, these are the steps I need to take. 1. Turn on the tv 2. Press ok on no connection notification 3. Force launch Netflix using the Netflix button on my remote 4. Wait for Netflix to load 5. Go back to the home menu, which is loaded correctly now. 6. Launch YouTube 7. Exit the last video I was watching by pressing back several times 8. Search the music video Other gripes: Ads on the Fire TV Home Screen take up the majority of the space making it busy and hard to navigate. AirPlay doesn't work most of the time. It auto updates at random times. Set up took too long and required downloading updates out of the box. Accidentally pressing one of the preloaded app buttons on the remote launches those apps without asking first. I'll be in the middle of a movie and accidentally press the DirecTV buttons and it just auto launches DirecTV. Hate it. Last Roku I had asked if I was sure I wanted to do that. ... show more

  • Good Bargain
Size: 65 inches
Good bargain for the price of $400. Other brands 2x-3x the price. Picture quality is sharp...I continuously used the TV for several days to ID any pixel problems as mentioned in other reviews. None. Most electronics go "bad" within a few weeks so run it through its paces before the 30-day Amazon return policy runs out. Sound quality was average but I have the TV hooked up to a speaker bar so not a big issue for me. Although, I haven't figured out how to sync up the sound bar volume control to the TCL remote. Only complaint: This model is Fire TV compatible but the button layout on the TCL remote is not the same as the Amazon Fire Stick. It takes a while to get used to the TCL pattern without looking, but at least you don't have to buy a separate Fire Stick. TCL is a brand that is growing in popularity and will be considered for my future TV purchases. ... show more

  • Good TV for the price!
Size: 55 inches
I have had good luck with TCL brand TVs and I have found that they delivered good quality for what you are paying. I haven't had this TV for a long period and I'm finding that there are some glitches in the display settings. For instance sometimes the display setting is blank and it will not allow you to adjust the picture on the TV itself you have to go into each app, what a stupid design! I will see if I have to return the thing. ... show more

  • Super picture, amazing price
Size: 65 inches
I upgraded from a 10 year old 60" Sharp 1080p that had a great picture but did not have smart features. I wasn't sure the picture would be an upgrade, but I was tired of having to switch between the firestick for smart features and the tv remote for antenna and HDMI functions. This did not disappoint. The footprint of this 65" is not much bigger than the old 60" because of the edge to edge picture. The sound is much better as well, I had to use a soundbar with the sharp because of the thin sounding speakers. The picture is outstanding, I'm just using the factory settings-mainly standard but occasionally switching to Movie and Dynamic. I haven't set any Custom pictures up yet, but will in the future. It's lighter as well and I was able to use the same slim mount as my older tv. Lighter is definitely more manageable. The power and inputs are easy enough to access even with it being mounted close to the wall. This is really a great tv with a ton of features for the money-It's quite a bit cheaper than what I paid for the smaller 60" tv 10 years ago--not many things are better and cheaper than they were 10 years ago. ... show more
