I just got this autmatic Lazer. It does move around and not just in a circle. It has a couple different settings. My dog loves this. It gives me a break from playing with him with a Lazer that I bought too. I think this is going to last. It's made a little better than I thought it would be, but it still is plastic. It rechargeable which is easy. Durability seems to be decent. Fun for my dog and me watching him having fun. It functions great. I only just got it and will use it about a dozen times a day at least. I do think this will last, but you Know where it was made.

This device was just what my kitty needed, or should i say I needed. My 8 month old kitten loved the laser light I bought to play with her, however, she wanted to play all the time. She quickly figured out that if she was getting into mischief I would get out the lazer to distract her. This lazer is awesome. It keeps her stimulated and it’s easy to use. It will run for 10 mins and then sleeps for two hours and then starts up automatically. If she wants more time, I just start it and let it go for another 10, that usually satisfies her. I highly recommend this for your cat(s). It charges up quickly and battery lasts long.

This is the perfect toy for all ages to keep your cat entertained and happy. It comes with a variety of different laser displays to choose from and it is motion sensing that can be activated by a cat’s movement and the use of the laser pointer to make a difference in the speed of the laser beam. I only got it yesterday but my kitties probably wish I had years ago! It's definitely helping with their recent boredom. It's been put at the edge of my desk so is doing long ovals on my office floor. It is truly random movement and slightly variable speeds. It goes for 10 minutes then stops for a couple hours b4 starting again. So it's just a long enough period of play that they look for it when it stops and aren't bored yet. The lazer can be different shapes but it doesn't show very well when it's further out, so my boys seem to prefer just the dot. You can also vary how far or close the "oval" runs. Just recharged it last night so we'll see how long it lasts b4 needing it again. Bought it for $15 so so far it's a good value! Update: The charge only really lasts a day or so at most. But thankfully it doesn't take too long to charge again so it's not a big deal. Interestingly even my ginger cat has figured it out. He's actually gone up and pawed at it once or twice when he's a bit bored. Both the cats will still play with it for at least a couple minutes when it runs. It's definitely cutting down their zoomies!

This is SO quiet! I had a battery operated automatic laser for my cats before and it was the loudest thing ever. This one, you can’t hear it at all. It’s great. Charges super fast. The cats love it. Everything works except the motion sensor part. Update: it’s not a motion sensor. It is timed. It goes off randomly (prob every 2-3 hours, haven’t kept track) thru out the day if you leave it on and goes into sleep mode.

awesome! Long battery life, timed and super entertaining for my cat :) it makes no noise and easy to use. The movements on the laser are pretty good! Overall best cat toy on amazon!
