I purchased two Taza Dark Chocolate bars, one was the Sea Salt & Almond, and the other was the Toffee flavored bar. The Sea Salt & Almond squares did taste a bit chalky, as some reviewers have stated. When I shaved the dark chocolate and used it as a topping for my cashew ice cream, it really made the dessert come to life! I'd recommend using the Sea Salt & Almond chocolate to enhance desserts or trail mix. The Toffee flavored bars have a smooth consistency and excellent flavor. I would like to give this less than one star. I opened the chocolate the day it arrived and offered it to guests… big mistake…the chocolate has a very light color and tastes bad despite being a year under the “best buy” date. Amazon doesn’t allow returns of the product. Very disappointing. Don’t risk buying it! ... show more

If you love dark chocolate and raspberry, try these. They're a bit crumbly, but very dark chocolate is like that. The raspberry isn't overly sweet and balances out well against the chocolate. They're positively addictive.

This chocolate was edible. It was barely, "ok", not great especially for the price. Yes it was vegan but did not satisfy. It is better to buy cacao powder and make chocolate yourself with vegan milk than to purchase this. Pay attention to the oz. I thought I was getting a BOX but only got a single bar. This chocolate was edible, the flavor very very rich and bold and tasted similar to what I would imagine dirt would taste like. It also gave me a headache. Way too small for the $10 price tag. Overall, it was ok. I like the gritty crunch and it was chocolatey, but it didn't taste better than regular 70-80% cocoa content dark chocolate bars and was 2-3 times as much. Would not order again

I'm not sure what I expected, so I made no expectations at all. That is how you need to be when trying this chocolate for the first time, because it is very, very different from processed chocolate lol. It's strong- I sneeze on the first bite every time. It's gritty. I had been eating Lindt 90% up until now and wow, difference in texture. I like it though, I like having texture in food and running my tongue over the grounds as I let it melt in my mouth. The first bar I sat down and, shamefully I admit, I ate the whole thing in one go. I really did. Mistakes were made, and I won't do it again, my body simply will not allow it. I pace myself now. I wake up, guzzle water on my night stand and place a block on my tongue and let it melt. Great wake-me-up alternative to coffee, and faster too. ... show more
