    • Easy Assembly
Putting it together was a snap, maybe 20-25 minutes. Looks good and it's sturdy. Couple of things to watch out for. You need to assemble this upside down, which is no problem. Make sure to put the underside of the shelf facing up. It's kinda hard to tell but the top of the shelf is glossy and the bottom a bit dulled. Wish they put some sort of tag that said this side up or down. At the end of shelf assembly, a cap goes on to the metal rod. The cap looks like a tiny cup with the rim facing up. The rod goes through the cap and you put on a screw. Then it got a little tricky. First I tried to hold the nut on with my finger and turn the cap. It wouldn't thread. Next, I used the front tip of a pair of needle-nose pliers and threaded the nut on. Once I did that, I could turn the cap and it tightened everything up. The cap is some sort of metal, which makes the lip of the cap sharp. Be careful not to cut your hand as you tighten it. I have a a heavy amp on one shelf and other audio components, but it is really sturdy. Overall, it was on sale when I bought it, so it's a great value. ... show more

Glass shelves are strong and heavy. Assembly instructions were easy to follow, and parts were clearly labeled. The chrome supports between the shelves are clean and strong. The holes in the shelves that the supporting rods go through are large, allowing a lot of swaying in the assembled unit. The bottom of the unit is to be finished with hexagonal nuts, which fit into the rubber feet, and with no means to tighten, other than with strong fingers and hope, neither of which I have. ... show more
