QUALITY: These are simple gorgeous. The panels look like satin eith a sheen. They look better then the high end curtains fold by Ethan Allen for $7,000 per window. Yes, thatโ€™s what custom drapery costs. COLOR: The teal looks like an icy blue. All are beautiful. The bronze is like an aged gold. The silver is very light. All have a white panel on the back. The white panel id like a cotton and it is not sewn completely to the colored panel but thatโ€™s ok. INSTRUCTIONS: The package includes a one page instruction on how to twists the tob tabs. The page id inserted unfolded so thst you can read it before opening the package. LENGTH (VERY IMPORTANT!!!!): After fixing the top tabs according to instructions, your curtains will be 2-3 inches shorter. 84 inch curtains will measure 81-82 inches long after the tip tabs are fixed. 95 inch curtains will measure 92-93 inches long. Each curtain panel comes with step by step illustrated instructions on how to create the twist tab The curtains are lightweight, but come lined and provide a moderate level of privacy, but still allows some light to filter through, ie not fully opaque and does not block all light Fabric texture is very similar to lightweight silk The twist tabs will result in SHORTER and NARROWER curtains than stated dimensions when hung If you like the look of the twist tabs, plan on buying a LENGTH LONGER and an EXTRA panel in order to achieve the FULL and LONG look of elegant curtains ... show more

I tried and returned three other sets of curtains at simular pricing. They were very thin fabric and really sheer. They also were packaged badly. They are pretty and quality fabric, the Champagne color just did not go with my room. It is difficult to know, only seeing pictures and not in person. Also I couldn't figure out how to tie the knots! Again, very nice product.

This valance is double thick, so it helps to block the light from behind and make it look rich and full. The valance is long however, so you need a tall window in order for it to not look too long. Or you can mount your rod higher on the window. I'm still deciding if I like the beading or not. Since my windows are very big and the valance is mounted high, the beading looks ok from the floor. The reason I purchased these valances was because I liked the way you mounted them onto the rod. I used 2 valances to cover 1 window as they gather when knotting the top, so I lost the fullness across the valance. But I do like the tie valance tab top. They have a nice color selection too, but I just selected white as it went well with my decor in the bedroom. ... show more
