Purchased this bed for our 2yr old! It’s a really solid frame, finished well, and easy to put together. Only set backs are it only hold 200lbs which we placed extra wood underneath bed and plan to reinforce the corners, and the railing with the opening is a little wobbly, but overall it’s a great bed for the money. The floor bed frame is straightforward to assemble. The handrail is a little low. If you put a 10-inch mattress inside, there won't be too much space left to prevent kids from falling. This is a really good alternative choice for the Esty's most popular floor bed frame. (Unfortunately, that product was discontinued due to safety concerns. ) We are missing one Hex-Head Bolts. The number 3 (1/4'' * 80mm) bolt required 8, but only 7 were provided. And for this product, the only choice is to return the entire thing or replace the entire product. Cute bed. But it definitely feels flimsy, and there were gaps in the bed, I actually had to stuff pillows in the gaps so our toddler wouldn't get caught. Another issue is the wood was super rough, I had to sand almost every piece, and a couple areas where there was sharp resin. Ultimately works good but I really expected more as far as safety considering it's for toddlers and littles ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The package was delivered early, but there was a significant amount of mold growing inside the package which also grew onto the wooden slats for the bed. The were also bent coming out of the box and had obviously not been sanded down properly. The slats are much too far away to be used without a box spring. The slats are 9.2 inches away, 3 in or less is recommended. The frame itself was fine and easy to put together but I will be returning the product as it is unsafe for a child to use. ... show more

Really happy with this purchase. I was looking at basically the exact same beds on Etsy that were 2x the price with shipping costs anywhere from $70-350. This bed was fairly easy to put together (one hour by myself and only needed a screw driver) and is sturdy. I am going to be modifying the tan bed skirt to cover the inside perimeter so I don’t have to worry about my 8 month old getting her legs or arms stuck in the gaps. Also, the full mattress I bought for this was a little smaller than the frame, so make sure you match up the measurements when considering your purchases better than I did! Still, I think that’s more a fault with the mattress and I would definitely buy this bed frame again! ... show more

I'm a minimalist and like to keep things simple, but looking good at the same time. I wanted to get a new bed for my toddler girl and this was a perfect choice. Just make sure you will need a firm spring mattress for this one. If you go with a thin foam mattress, it will sink right in between the slacks when your kids walk into their bed. It does have some smell but not a chemical smell but more of the natural wood smell which doesn't bother me too much. I chose twin size and it's perfect for my two year old.
