I bought these for our guest room. I put a 5-in foam mattress on it and it is extremely comfortable! The quality as I was putting it together seemed a little shaky. Now that it's together it actually is pretty sturdy. I did buy some slat to reinfor ements to hopefully increase the weight capacity just for my sound of mind. Easy to put together Main components are solid wood Trundle on the other hand is particle wood an it only comes with 5 slats!?! The trundle part might get thrown out

I really like how this bunk bed looks, the instructions are easy to follow once you understand and organize all pieces in order. I recommend some power tools that have the same tool needed for the screws. I am disappointed in some quality of a few pieces finishes, we have some dents, scratches and two key pieces missing. The height from the bottom bunk is not standard height. I have a 10" mattress on the bottom and I can't even make the bottom bed up without hitting my head. I'd hate to wake up in the middle of the night and forget how low it is. It's a full bottom bunk, so an adult or teenager would be sleeping in it, not a small child. It is 24" rather than the standard 32" from the bottom slats to the slats from the top bunk. ... show more
