Been using Tatcha more than a decade. Rice polish, camellia oil, texture tonic, essence, serum stick, silk eye/face cream and sun screen, silk powder. During times of financial stress I cut back to rice polish, texture tonic and essence with a lesser face cream. I'm currently 56 and grateful that most guess my age 20 years less - at least until I allowed my black-brown hair to go full salt/pepper (heavy on the salt) just last year. Especially since I subjected my sensitive Irish-American complexion to far too many tanning booth visits as a twenty-something.... This can be drying if used too often! I’ve found for my skin, once daily to every other day works best. This product is helping to smooth out some of my skin texture present due to hormonal acne. Bottle will last me a LONG time so price is justifiable to me. No strong scent either!

I purchased this texture tonic and other Tacha products around the holidays in order to establish a skin care routine. After using it for a while, I can only conclude that it's incredible. My skin's texture was much more balanced out thanks to the Tacha texture tonic. I also noticed that my face become less oily. My pores tightened making it less obvious. And part of the redness that was around my nose's creases almost completely disappeared. There is a little less than a month between these photos. This product is absolutely far over my budget because I'm a college student, but for a one-time use that lasts a while, it was totally worth it. I would suggest it to friends and family because it is genuinely effective! As the product's instructions clearly state, avoid using it on injured skin, especially after shaving the face. Even though I made that error, the skin does get irritated but nothing drastic happens. In a little period of time, it disappears as if nothing occurred, and your skin seems flawless. I love all of Tatcha's products, but they are expensive. There are many toners and exfoliants at lower prices, but Tatcha's Texture Tonic has a wonderful scent that helps me relax. After I pat into my face with my hands, I place my hands over my nose and mouth and breathe the scent in deeply a few times to help me relax. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. ... show more
