I bought this as a gift for my daughter for Christmas and she is delighted with it. I would attach a photo, but since she’s in Georgia and I’m in Maryland, she did send me a photo but this app won’t allow me to attach the photo. She said she will have it for many years as I had hoped. It reminds me of the one my mother had only hers was green. I chose the white one because it would be more to her liking. I ordered a patriotic tree from Lakeside Collections. It’s much larger and cheaper. They processed the order but filed bankruptcy 4 days after I ordered. I’m not sure this would go with my red, white and blue decor for July 4 but I’ll keep it. I may add some red, white and blue stars on it to make it more patriotic. ... show more

    • Needed a teeny tiny screwdriver
I like the tree itself. Fits perfectly on my dining room table as a centerpiece. However, to load the 3 batteries there was a problem. The “door” to the battery area was screwed shut by a teeny tiny screw for which I did not have a teeny tiny screw driver. So, I had to pry it open, wound up removing the base of the tree so now it won’t go back; will have to tape it shut. I had to force the battery door partially open to slip the 3 batteries inside. Fortunately, the lights came on. Why the battery door was screwed shut, I don’t know. It was very inconvenient trying to install the batteries. ... show more

I liked the size of this tree, it's a bit taller and wider than a can of soda, yet smaller than other ceramic lighted trees. It's useful, as can be seen well across a twelve foot room span sitting on a table, without seeming too miniature. This has a nice lighted effect and has several aqua color bulbs as well, which seems a welcome contrast to have a pastel mixed in with the brights. Very well made and neatly painted. ... show more
