They are easy to instal

I bought these for my 2010 Street Triple R and figured they should fit since the Speed Triple is pretty much the same frame/motor. To my pleasant surprise the instructions say they are for a "'08-'12 Street Triple, Triumph" I laughed and installed these bad boys on without a problem. I think they look great and the finish feels metallic/heavy duty. I like them overall, great find especially for the price. These are my first sliders so I'm not sure if my next comment is valid but they could be longer, if you need to extend them outwards just put some washers between the slider and the frame. No I have not tested them yet, will let you know how they hold up when I do. (hope I don't) 4 stars because i'm not convinced the seller knows what he's selling, 5 stars for the product though.

Impossible to find better frame sliders at this price. A decent set of model specific made to fit type frame sliders can easily cost $90 to around $200. Usually you get what you pay for, you should expect a cheap $25 frame slider will be just like a cheap part... however in this rare case with the Tarazon frame protector/slider, you get a quality part at half the price of what most decent parts like it will cost. Do your part that is expected as a responsible and intelligent consumer, such as read the full product description and know what you actually need for your specific model and year, and I'm sure that you will be satisfied aswell. As a buyer, if you always do your research and aren't the type of idiot that just buys randomly based on titles and price, then expects the sellers to be responsible for your ignorance, you won't have any issues. Remember: 99.8 percent of the time you get what you pay for, but with this product it is the very rare time you get quality at a bargain.

The description should state “permanently remove air duct” so yeah lets remove the air duct on an air cooled engine (just plain stupid). I read their description and I thought you had to remove the air duct to install these sliders and then I could reinstall the air duct. And don’t think about returning, since they charge 50% restocking fee. This tells me they know its a scan.
