Great addition to our nursery. We have an expensive chair in my toddlers room that we love so I’m comparing this chair to what I’m used to. I’m a little on the shorter side (5’2”) so I do have to have a pillow to prop up the back or I feel like I’m leaning way back when the chair is in upright position. The arm rests are also very low so I do have another pillow I use when we are rocking our baby. Overall it’s a great chair. Quality is great, price was great, and easy to put together! Our daughter wished for this recliner for her new baby's nursery, and wow is it comfy! I'm not much of a rocking chair/glider person so it takes a lot to impress me and this certainly did. The fabric looks exactly like the image: a lovely shade of ivory linen that goes so well with her "cottage core" decor. It fit perfectly in the space for our granddaughter's room and was super easy to assemble. Baby girl is almost a year old now and the chair has held up very well considering it's used multiple times a day and night. My daughter attests that she's very comfortable nursing the baby in this cushy glider. It's a great chair for the money! I was very hesitant about ordering a chair online without having tried it out beforehand. Reading through the reviews, I had mixed feelings, but decided to go for it anyway. I am so happy I did! Perfect balance of functionality/comfort/aesthetics. It's very comfortable, it feels high quality, the fabric texture is smooth and nice, it rocks/swivels gently, reclines back far, and the footrest is EASY to push back down. And the price is so more than worth it. If you're hesitant, JUST GET IT. Edit after nearly 2 years of use: the fabric does pill quite a bit. Otherwise, it’s still in decent condition! ... show more

After using this chair for 3 months straight with a newborn here is our honest review. The things I like the most about the chair is it is compact. This is a good chair for a smaller room. The chair is very comfortable. It can recliner back, swivel, and rock which is great for a nursery chair. We have taken many naps in the chair and it is comfortable enough to sleep on, however you have to be scooted all the way back and pushing on the foot rest with your legs to stay reclined the whole way because there is resistance when you lay down. If you have pets the fabric will start pilling quickly and fray. This is a review with a family with a cat and dog that constantly jump on it and claw on it. Even with all that wear and tear it has held up very well and i purchased a fabric shaver to try to remove the pilling and extend the use of the chair and keep it looking nice since its in the living room. The fabric is relatively easy to clean when our baby spit up on it, we use a handheld stain remover vacuum when we cant spot clean it. We got the white/beige colored one cause it matched our living room. I think it looks really nice and matched our other furniture. If you're holding a baby the sides are still low enough to where you will need a boppy pillow for support to be comfortable holding the baby or else your shoulder will get sore so it isn't super padded or anything on the arm rests. Sometimes it's hard to shut the foot rest after reclining I do wish there was something on the side to help close it. Otherwise, for the price point and what we needed this chair works for us and it's overall a great chair. For reference I am around 5ft 4 and my husband is 6ft 3, this chair is comfortable for a shorter person and taller person we were both able to fit and sleep on it when we had to. ... show more

So comfortable!! Love the tall back! At 6 feet tall my head and shoulders are still well supported by the tall back. Smooth and quiet movement. The only negative is the recline feature requires a lot of room and it is VERY difficult to get the foot rest to open completly and close again. I rarely want to use the foot rest or recline so for me its not an issue and I would definately recommend ! Love the deep green colour too! ... show more

**I would not recommend this chair to anyone, not worth the cost as it does not work as it should.** Bought this for our nursery. Delivered in good time and easy to put together (only two pieces - top/back onto the seat). The chair is very comfortable to sit it and the swivel and rocker are quiet. However, the leg recline did not come out all the way when you pull the lever. It was getting stuck on the left side and was not installed properly during manufacturing. My husband was able take the chair apart and recenter the swivel/rocking apparatus so it will recline fully now (not something we should have to do with a $300 recliner). The next problem is that the leg recline does not close without significant effort. You have to kick it closed 5 or so times with a lot of leg strength and hope it clicks to hold closed or else it just pops back open. 9/10 times I cannot close it and just leave it open because I get frustrated. Not safe or easy to use while trying to stand up holding a newborn. We were very close to sending it back for a refund but decided to keep it as the hassle to ship it back was too much. If I could go back I would have just bought the recliner I found at the furniture store that actually worked properly. ... show more
