Deciding on a nursery chair is difficult, espeically with various needs. My husband and I were debating on a chair. We did not want anything too large, wanted something that was preferably a glider, rocker and had a reclining option and at a fair price point. I started eyeing this chair and loved all the features. We went to a store to look at it and both found it was supportive and comfortable. We opted to buy it from Amazon due to better pricing and easy delivery. The chair is simple, yet had all the features we hoped for. The chair can be reclined, but is also a great rocker. I think I love this chair especially as it does not feel is it is only a nursery seat. It could easily be utilized in other areas of the home. I found the certifications to ensure safety to be a bonus. I am a fairly petite female qnd I fit great in this chair. I do not find it is quite as conveneient for my husband who is much taller, however he still feels it is comfortable seating. Overall, I think this is a great option for the price. I was very hesitant about ordering a chair online without having tried it out beforehand. Reading through the reviews, I had mixed feelings, but decided to go for it anyway. I am so happy I did! Perfect balance of functionality/comfort/aesthetics. It's very comfortable, it feels high quality, the fabric texture is smooth and nice, it rocks/swivels gently, reclines back far, and the footrest is EASY to push back down. And the price is so more than worth it. If you're hesitant, JUST GET IT. Edit after nearly 2 years of use: the fabric does pill quite a bit. Otherwise, it’s still in decent condition! ... show more

    • Love this Chair!
We purchased this for our daughter who is expecting! She shared with us that she would rate this chair a 10 out of 10. She loves the fact that it's super comfortable, reclines easy, and it's not bulky or too big. I'm pretty sure the rocking feature will come in handy when the baby arrives. We looked at like 25 chairs, and half of these were crazy expensive. Save yourself some money and buy this chair!!! We also purchased the warranty just in case. Comfortable, modern style! I really don’t like those bulky chairs! There is a button on the right side to open the extended leg/feet part with two positions. The color is a blueish gray. Overall, a great buy! UPDATE: THE CHAIR IS NOT DURABLE! After 6 or 7 months, one arm(let side) broke, the foot rest is broken, does not go back in anymore, and the fabric is fraying on the foot rest along the two seems. The chair was not used all the time, only when family came for Holidays! So is NOT DURABLE! ... show more

    • Some pros and cons
UPDATE: While this glider did work great, the seam on the front of the chair (where the inside of your knees would rest) started ripping after only a year and a half of use. It’s an inexpensive chair, but that’s what leads me to change my rating from 5 stars to 3. It was so overwhelming to look at all of the options for our baby’s nursery, and I wasn’t sure if I should splurge on something different, but after looking around, we decided to go with this one and risk an online one that we hadn’t sat in. The minute my husband set it up, he said it was so comfy he could sleep in it, and I agree, as I have been so comfortable in the middle of night waking up an feeding baby. It doesn’t squeak at all, and it’s held up great. And the price is AMAZING! The only thing this that when you manually push the leg rest back down, it’s fairly loud and can be startling for baby - so if it’s the middle of the night, I just rock without kicking the leg rest up. ... show more

    • An AWESOME Chair
This chair is awesome. It’s so attractive in any room, soft/plush, the color is a marl gray so it won’t get dirty that easily. It also gently rocks/swivels and reclines. I love the puffy arm rests and the overall design. That being said, if just a few more things were added, it would be the G.c.O.A.T aka the greatest chair of all time. If the recliner feature locked in place at different degrees of recline that would be amazing. It’s easy to recline now but it doesn’t stay in place so if you move or let off the pressure it will come back up slightly. With a newborn on your chest you definitely don’t want the recliner unreclining so easily. Maybe consider making it an electric recliner instead of manual? Those stay exactly where you want them and that’s helpful. If this chair had a pocket on both or either sides that would also be amazing. Moms have lives too, and when the baby only sleeps on you but you’re not tired, it’s nice to have your phone, baby books, your books, glasses, kindle, nintendo switch (whatever you’re into) nearby. If this chair had pockets these would be so much more accessible. Right now all my stuff is on a nightstand nearby but sometimes it’s slightly out of reach. If the chair itself was deeper, that would be perfect because the armrests would come up higher and help support mom’s arms a bit more while she bottle or breast feeds. It would also be less of a concern that your baby may fall off the chair if you fall asleep and they move. Overall, this nursery chair is epic. But it could still improve! I highly recommend it if none go the cons mentioned are deal breakers for you. ... show more

My baby is 7 months now and I’ve spent several nights sleeping in this chair. First and foremost, it is super comfortable. I love the wide armrests. It rocks and swivels easily and quietly. I looked and looked through so many reviews trying to find a chair that would recline and close easily. I’m 5’ 1” so I’m sure that has something to do with making it difficult. The reviews were mixed on if this would fit the bill. I attest 10000% that this is not one of those chairs. If I would have tried this before purchasing, I never would have bought it. After pulling the lever, sometimes it reclines and sometimes it doesn’t. It makes it tricky having a sleeping baby in your arms and a little movement will suddenly jolt the footrest up. Sometimes I have to manually pull the footrest open to get it to recline. Again with baby in tow. It’s just as difficult to get the footrest back in place. I have to just climb out of the chair with it open when I need to get up. For that reason, I hate this chair. If the recline function worked better I would buy this 100x over. It’s just not very practical when trying to make small movements with a baby. Side note - I’ve been using this for 7 months and the seams are already showing wear and tear and the material looks like it’s slouching already. Comfort - 10/10, if you’re not looking to use the recline option often you’ll be happy with the comfort and movement of this chair.
