  • Great for 6$. Only like the light color.
Color: Light Size: 6.76 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I bought the light because it’s on sale for 6$! Even cheaper w subscribe and save. For my light medium olive complexion this is the perfect color! Very natural looking. When i’ve used without lotion It was a smidge blotchy so be aware. I mix it w lotion because using the sprayer doesn’t cut it for me and I find it distributes better and evenly. Yes probably shouldn’t have to do that but i love it this way. I spray 5-6 spritzes per section in my hand and mix w cetaphil body lotion.Ive even dumped the bottle in w lotion and used it that way. Works great. No patches or streaks this way. I do not recommend on the face even w lotion because it will dry your face out and left my dark spots much darker so be aware if you have those issues. So yes for me i had to get creative but this is my fourth time buying and i cannot beat the price! It lasts me 8-9 tans per bottle and I use every 3 days in the summer. ... show more

  • Self tanner
Color: Light Size: 6.76 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Pretty impressed. I don't generally use self tanning products bc they turn me orange but this product did not. It gave me just enough glow without the orange tint. Can be layered for darker effect and easy to apply. Barely any smell and doesn't leave a sticky residue.

  • Works well
Color: Medium Size: 6.76 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I love this stuff. it's a lot better than most self tanners. I've tried a lot of them too ones from amazon, walmart, salon etc. the only thing I need to master is the feet! Thats the harder part to get right and then some maybe can tell its a self tanner. On my legs it looks just fine. Smells nice too. I like that it's clear and doesn't transfer to clothes and dries quickly. ... show more

  • pretty tan
Color: Medium Size: 6.76 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Best tanner Ive ever bought, I really have to say , it blends really well and doesnt take much so it lasts. Also I use clear gloves to apply it just because I dont like it getting in between my fingers. If not, just be sure to wash hands after use.

  • A glow up in a bottle with no mess
Color: Dark Size: 6.76 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I was skeptical at first about a clear tanning water, but Tanologist Dark has officially earned a spot in my glow-up routine. It gives me that bronzed, even tan without the typical self-tanner struggles. Pros: • Streak-Free Glow: I was shocked at how even the tan developed. No orange patches, no weird buildup around knees or elbows—just a natural, deep bronze. • No Transfer: Because it’s a clear formula, it doesn’t stain sheets, clothes, or towels. HUGE win. • Lightweight & Fast-Drying: It feels like a facial mist going on—super light and dries in minutes. No sticky feeling! • Customizable Tan: You can do one layer for a glow or build it up for a darker look. I saw the full color develop in about 4–6 hours. • Vegan & Clean Ingredients: Bonus points for being cruelty-free, vegan, and free of parabens and sulfates. Cons: • No Guide Color: Since it’s clear, you do have to be a little more careful when applying—you won’t see where you’ve sprayed until it develops. I recommend using a mitt and spraying section by section. • Strong Scent at First: It has a fresh scent going on, but you can smell the DHA (that typical self-tan smell) slightly as it develops—not the worst, but noticeable. If you want a deep tan without the mess, stickiness, or drama, Tanologist’s Dark Tanning Water is a total win. Just exfoliate, mist, blend with a mitt, and let it work its magic. • Tanologist Express Self Tan Water, Light - Hydrating Sunless Tanning Water
Color: Light Size: 6.76 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I have acne prone skin, it stays mostly under control if I stick to my regular skin care regime and only use products that explicitly state on the container "non-comedogenic". Believe it or not, claiming a product to be "non-comedogenic" is different than stating "won't clog pores", "non-pore clogging", or similar variations of this. It all comes down to if a word, or words, has defined meaning with the FDA. "Non-comedogenic" has specific clinical criteria of what that is and a product claiming this must be able to prove it meets these defined criteria. Compare this to the phrase "won't clog pores" which has no defined criteria and not subject to any regulation. It's just marketing and nothing more. Other offenders with no meaning are "dermatologist approved", "for sensitive skin", and a new one lately that is particularly misleading "not linked with causing breakouts". These all have no defined meaning and this Tanologist Express Self Tan Water actually sports each of these marketing terms in one place or another but does not explicitly state on the bottle "non-comedogenic". I did find some copy in one small infographic of the many on this listing that makes an umbrella assertion of "non-comedogenic" for Tanologist "waters, drops and mouses". But this shows no where else in such broad manner, and not ever when specific to this tanning water product. Not even on their own website's product description states "non-comedogenic" anywhere. I'm inclined to believe this one-off blanket statement to perhaps is just an error in marketing copy. So against my knowing better I convinced myself that because it's a "water" formation and specifically states it's for the face (and body) that it should be fine. Well, as you've probably guessed by my long winded review, it did indeed make me break out, a lot. Of course YMMV and may be just fine for you. Only you know how your skin reacts to things. But if you are like me with acne prone skin, even if under control, and know you can only use "non-comedogenic" products on your face, then I would maybe skip this one. Other points of note: - Yes, it is a tanning water as described but has a destinctly sticky feeling when sprayed onto the face. So much so that it is a little unpleasent waiting for it dry. How can this possibly be not pore clogging, was my first thought when sprayed on. - I'm a little fair skinned and the "Light" version I tried was too light for my taste. It took at least 3 daily applications to notice anything. To compare, the Jergens Natural Glow (medium to dark) that is meant to be built up over several applications looks darker on the first application than this one does after 3. - I'm actually a big fan of the "Tanologist Brightening Daily Glow - Medium/Dark" lotion for non-facial use. Good color, it's gradual so it goes on more evenly and natural looking, is a bit faster to show meaningful color than the Jergens daily glow build up lotion. Nice smell/not orange/fades well/ and is very budget friendly @ about $9 for 8.45 oz vs $10ish for 7.5 oz for the Jergens - (I actually alternate between the two between the 2 to give a nice depth to the tan). I was disappointed with this facial specific tanning water product compared to their daily glow product. ***Note that the daily glow marketing and labeling suffer from the same issue as the tanning water where it doesn't ever say "non-comedogenic" anywhere, ever. Only the meaningless marketing jargon. Even the Q & A on their own website is wishy-washy when it comes to the question of "will this make my face break out" where the answer siaply asserts that they make all of their products to be (insert marketing words here) and therefor usable on the face. It's frustrating because I want to like their products but either formulate the facial products to be able to state "non-comedogenic" and stand behind that or don't make any such assertions with meaningless marketing words at all. ... show more

  • Great color, easy to use, fantastic product
Color: Medium Size: 6.76 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Love the color payout on this product. I’ve been using it for years and repurchase about every 2-3 months to keep a natural looking tan year round. No orange glow here just a beautiful even tan.
