  • So far it’s good.
Size: 26" x 4.0-4.8"
I wanted a few months to post this. Overall it’s been working out for me. I installed this on the rear of a 26x4 fat tire e-bike. I didn’t have to cut anything, I used a 26x3” tube. Also used just a light dusting of corn starch on the tube and liner to help it slide into place for installation. Just add enough air to the tube for it to barely take shape helps. Don’t try and install a tube that still completely laying flat out of the box I can see that being a hard installation. I got about 95% of the tube and liner put in by hand, barely had to use a pry on the tire bead at the end. Just take your time! I think a big issue and why people might complain about this product or flats on fat tires is that with a 26x4 you really need to be careful about tire pressure and how everything is aligned. It’s super easy to get a pinched tube on a fat tire e-bike. I mean if you only have 3 pounds of air in your back tire and you put any weight on the bike, you’re probably going to destroy that tube and it’s gonna blow. I don’t know how well this product will work in ways of, the tube from getting pinched on the rim but as far as things poking through and getting to the tube, it seems to help. Also I’d recommend running about 5 pounds lower air pressure than you normally would when using this product. Even better use this with some flat out or slime and you should be pretty good to go. ... show more

  • this solves your problems for sure.
Size: 26" x 4.0-4.8"
I was looking for security because I am a 60 year old disabled man and this bike is the only exercise I can do and if I get a flat, I can not walk and i have no one to save me. I would not be able to get home. I put this on and installation was easy and never had a flat after and was able to feel ok about going farther from home. This is what I needed and I was able to feel good about riding any where without worry of being stuck. You will not be sorry if you spend the little extra for this because it solves the problem that takes you here. Unfortunately for me, I was riding my bike and was struck by a tesla and I was in the street with my shoulder out of socket trying to get up because my knees were burning on the street,. I asked the driver to please help me my knees are burning and they sped off and left me. I never knew people could be like this to anyone. I had to lie on my side and roil myself over out of the street cuz it was a very busy main street and nobody even tried to help me They just waited for me to roil out of the way and someone got my bike and moved it and the wheel was all bent and now I am saving money for another bike because I cant walk and need exercise. I know I will put these inserts in my new bike when I can get one. ... show more

  • Pricey but worth it.
Size: 20" x 3.0-4.0"
You must be patient getting these in and settling correctly but it's worth it. I used baby powder over the tube to reduce the friction while sliding them in. You can tell a bit of difference in the weight but I went all out getting these with heavy duty tires and heavy duty tubes and my ebike rides very smooth. ... show more

  • Does not work as advertised
Size: 20" x 3.0-4.0"
This is a total rip off. I installed the insert per the manufacturer recommendation and a week later I had something puncture the insert and got a flat tire. I am very disappointed with this product. Don't waste your money.

  • No more flats, slight unbalance tire
Size: 26" x 4.0-4.8"
Adds weight and maybe unbalances the tire. Exceeding 15mph you will notice a slight bounce. A little unbalance is well worth the trade off to never have to fix a punctured tube. I ran these on a 26x4.0” tires.

  • Must have for e-bikes
Size: 20" x 3.0-4.0"
This insert has performed very well in the month I’ve had it. In the 6 months I’ve had my bike I’ve had at least 7 flats and most were from little pieces of metal from the street cleaners bristles and small glass shards. All would barely break through the tire but with the weight on the back tire they’d cause a flat. Always the back; insert angry face!! The second day it was in I pulled a staple that went straight into the tire out and the day after that a 3/4” finishing nail that went in at a slight angle. Neither punctured the tube and what I would’ve spent on replacement tubes has already covered a decent portion of the cost of this. I can still find glass shards and fine metal pieces but I’ve stopped even looking after seeing it take the nail and not go flat. I’ve seen reviews about this not having instructions and that’s wrong. They’re literally embossed on the side of the insert. It’s a few simple steps; deflate tube, clean insert, put insert into tire, tire on bike, re-inflate. But honestly if you need more that that you probably shouldn’t be working on your own bike imho. The only thing that wasn’t stated was that you may have to trim this if your size falls within a range like mine 3-4” insert for a 3” tire, but that’s kinda common sense and if you held the insert against your tire without trimming you’d see it’s way over sized. For this I put the whole insert into the tire, traced where it touched the edge of the tire and then cut 1/8” inside that line to give the tire bead space to seat in the rim. Like magic the amount I cut off was very close to 1” Lastly I’d like to point out something about sizing. The 20x3” tube I first put on which is my bikes size was too big. I felt this as I put it on. There’s just too much rubber when this insert takes up 1/3 of the space in the tire. I did my best to stretch it out and have it fit smoothly in the tire but there seemed to always be a spot it bunched. Plus I couldn’t really pump more than 20psi into the tire despite the bike calling for a min of 24. I should’ve trusted my instincts but recall reading another review saying someone was a clown for saying you need to size the tube down. Well last week I got a flat, was still able to ride to a safe place to change as the insert doesn’t put your rim on the road and the flat was caused by a small pinch in the tube. Not even against the rim just a tiny fold in the center of the tube where it sat in the insert. I got the next partial size tube smaller; 2.75-3.3” and it fits much better and took the correct psi. ... show more

  • Flats be gone!
Size: 27.5" x 2.6-3.0"
Was quite difficult to install on my 27.5x3 tires. But I haven't gotten a flat ever since I installed them. I ride my e-bike very often to work so no more flats is such a convenience.

  • Hawk 250 tire saver
Size: 20" x 4.0-4.8"
This was a LIFE SAVER for the hawk 250, I went through so many tubes here in New Mexico from goat heads and after putting this on, I didn’t get a single hole. They go on fairly easy if you use soap and water as a lubricant and have the amor sit in the sun for a little while
