Overall this is a very nice brace and worth the cost. When I first received it, I was unsure that I’d keep it. However, after trying it on and wearing it, I immediately realized how perfect it was for my needs. Using this brace, I have been able move with confidence while recovering from my injury. Besides supporting both wrist and lower/mid forearm, it’s very comfortable and not too bulky. In fact, I can still wear a shirt and coat over it (just be careful not to snag delicate clothing on the velcro tab, which I learned the hard way). It’s also very comfortable and easy to slip on/off and quickly tighten/loosen on demand by simply pulling the tab attached to the strings with the opposite hand. It can be expanded to fit over an ace bandage or small hot/cold pack without compromising support (there even seems to be a narrow pouch on the top side for a small hot/cold pack, though I didn’t test that). The metal rod inside can also be removed if the extra support isn’t needed. The clever design allows it to be used on either the right or left hand, and the reflective stripes along both sides are an attractive touch with a purpose. I would highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a longer brace with good support/protection for wrist and forearm, allows thumb and fingers to move freely, and is easy to adjust one-handed.

If you have a wrist fracture and a cast did not work for any reason, this is for you! I had a very bad experience with a cast! After a few hours I began to get numbness (this is very bad) that followed pain, excruciating pain and I knew something was not right. I had the cast cut off, same day. I tried many things to find that stability. If you have a new fracture you know what I’m talking about when I say slipping your hand into anything is near impossible. It is just way too much pain!!! I searched everywhere for a support that would open up that you could close around the wrist yourself. This is incredible, the measurement guide is incredible, the brace support in the front and back is incredible. The feeling of a fracture that is completely unstable is a scary one. I have multiple fractures in the Radius and one in the Ulna and after the cast removal it took much research to find this splint, that met all my needs. I waited 2 1/2 days for this product. Amazon delivered early, I’m thankful for that and the moment I put this on I knew this is a grand product. The stability is comparable to a hard cast and I am very thankful for this company and the product they have produced.

I bought for my partner after she fell running and got a hairline fracture in her wrist. It hurt to move it or grab things. I’m had a smaller wrap, but that didn’t stop mobilize her wrist. This one did the trick. The bars and length prevented her from using her hand instinctively. Helped her recover in a couple weeks. Going to save this in my wraps and PT bin. Hope I won’t need in the future but can recommend and wish you well in your recovery.

I have discovered unfortunately that reviews are no Ionger as helpful as they used to be. I found it to be extremely discouraging when looking for items to help with my pain. That said I promised myself to make sure I leave reviews that may help others like me. I suffer from carpal tunnel, and nerve damage. I needed something to stabilize my arm during a very bad flare up. I am small built and pietie, so it's super hard to find things that fit. This fit me nicely, and helped stabilize my wrist at night. For me the cons here are it's a tad bulky, but it's not the products fault, and the Velcro is super loud, it took some work to get to the Goldie locks zone fit wise. It didn't give me immediate pain relief, thats not it's job. I saw a review where someone said a brace cured their carple tunnel.. idk it just felt wrong. I hope this helps someone chose this item if it's right for them ❤️

The length helped isolate the twisted muscles and give them the rest needed to heal. The strap was really long. I cut that and wished I had saved it to cover the Velcro that was rough and uncovered. The rough Velcro snagged a lot of my clothes and sheets. I would buy again if needed.
