    • Don't use this for panel scribing
This is a good starter item. However, it's not meant for scribing perfect lines on your gundam parts. I first started with this, and the results are not good. Then, I tried TAMIYA Fine Engraving Chisel Blade (You pay $20 for a tiny blade) and the results are night and day. You get sharp panel lines. Of course, everything depends on your skills, but great panel lines are much easier to achieve with sharper chisel blades. Avoid this product for panel scribing. This thing is a perfect for panel accents & removing panels. It takes little effort so donโ€™t apply hefty pressure or you could get hung up. Set the blade where you want & gently pull towards you, repeat until you have the desired amount of material removed. I modified a commissioned 1:24 scale model of a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda by removing the door - this tool was perfect for the job and I will buy another in a heartbeat.     • Nice Tool to Have
I've always used the back of an X-Acto knife to clean up/crease seams. After seeing one of these in action, I pick this one up, and it works better and is slightly easier to use than the knife. It is a little expensive though.
