For the bulkiness and fabric of the material you would assume that this shower curtain is a breeding ground for mold. After using this for multiple months without cleaning I can honestly say there is no mold or moldy scent. I think that they line the inside of the fabric nicely with the plastic shower material. The velvet fabric part usually always stays clean, but in worst case scenario if it gets wet it does dry up within a few hours. It was a little heavy, but considering the nice quality and material used that does make sense. I would say this is a good choice if you were concerned about mold or any germs being on it. I do not think that the velvet makes the curtain more suseptible to bacteria as some may think. As I was a little skeptical of this as well I made sure to take great notice and watch for that specific thing for the 5 months I used it. No mold was noted in comparison to other curtains that use the same material. Unfortunately I just recently moved and forgot to take a picture of this shower curtain (writing this a couple months after I purchased so I can give a fair review). I want to express how amazing these are really! So I was throwing a party and wanted to make sure all my things looked quality and nice or I guess you could say expensive looking. I literally had like a $200 budget to do this though! I was looking online for hours when I saw this cheap shower curtain. I literally knew as soon as I saw it how I was going to decorate my bathroom. I chose the chocolate dark brown color, because I thought it looked rich in color with the velvet touch. I used the shower curtain as the focal point of the bathroom and decided to decorate based on that. I found these really cool white marble toothbrush holders to match and I also bought 2 bath mats off of amazon that were almost like abstract paintings. they were super modern and looked so cool alongside the curtain! I bought these adorable curtain rings that had diamonds on them and put lavender in the room to go with it. Everyone that came over and used the bathroom literally had something to say about it LOL. I got a ton of compliments on the curtain (Because who's ever seen a velvet expensive looking shower curtain like that before??) and compliments on my decorating in the room in general. Everything I used was off of amazon so I could get it the next day with the free shipping. I was very pleased with the entirety of it all. In conclusion, I loved the shower curtains style and so did everyone else! It looks rich, elegant, classy, and very high quality. The shower curtain is clean, durable, and efficient. I would recommend this to anyone looking to meets the needs of a cheap, but very nice bathroom.

It is such a great quality curtain! The velevet is extremely soft, not scratchy at all. The backing is nice and waterproof. It has a nice weight to it. I didn't pay attention when I ordered, so I was very pleasantly surprised it came with beautiful, gold hooks to hang from. They are the good kind of hooks that roll too! It fit my shower perfectly! I steamed up the bathroom and it got rid of any wrinkles like a charm. I haven't had any wrinkles since then.

The media could not be loaded. Purchasing this shower curtain was (aside from the god awful delivery nonsense I went through) was the absolute *best* decision I've made for my new apartment. The color is a vibrant, deep green that perfectly lines up to my expectations from the picture. I received all of the gold hooks, and I've gotta say - the hooks and the green velvet together are super classy and lush. The curtain seems well made and fit perfectly on my shower rod. I opted to go for the extra long curtain as I wanted it floor-length. It was super easy to hang up and looks really really good now that it's been hung up. The curtain is on the heavier side, but I am so stoked about that because it feels well made and also feels and looks much more expensive than it was.

Maybe it’s the poor white girl in me, $35 seemed excessive for a shower curtain. But I had to have it. Unboxing it was even a part of the experience. It was so luxurious, which made my indulgence seem extra worth it. The shower curtain is a statement piece as much as anything. The other side is lined with a sturdy plastic lining. The curtain has a substantial weight without being too heavy, and comes with gold shower hooks. You will not be disappointed.

I bought the 84 inch curtain because we have very high ceilings. It fit perfectly and looked amazing right out of the packaging! I didn't even have to iron it! This is NOT cheap and is also backed for moisture. The green velvet curtain was the perfect way to have a beautiful curtain for Christmas that doesn't look cheap! It went perfect with my sage green accent towels, rug, snowmen and wreath.

I bought this gold version for my guest bathroom because I had previously purchased the green 84 inch long version and loved it. This is the only crushed velvet style I could find that had a true water proofed lining on the inside, to resist absorbing water. There is a similar looking item listed on Amazon but the photos make it clear that its just a normal curtain. Note, I am still using an inner curtain (Biscaynebay Hotel Quality Fabric Shower Curtain) in a matching color for maximum water repelling. The green version has been in use for almost a year in my master bathroom and I have had zero complaints. It looks lovely, has good weight, no wrinkles when unpacked and the dramatic length suite my bathroom. This gold version receives a 4 star because the gold is more on the brown / beige side than a more yellow gold. I would have preferred more yellow in this. Additionally, they have not had an 84 inch version available..if this was in 84 instead of 72, that would have also helped earn another star. Still an item I strongly recommend if this fits your style!
