I use the bag for my custom made bodhran - 15 inches in diameter, 5 inches deep. It fits perfectly. The strap on the top and the backpack straps on the back make it easy to carry, but are not perfect if you want to sling the bag over one shoulder. The front pocket is large enough to hold several tippers (the sticks used to play a bodhran) and any written notes you might want to bring to a session or lessons. The stitching is solid and the fabric seems strong so, though I have only used it for a couple of months, I expect it to be durable. I recommend buying a color (mine is red) to distinguish your bag from similar ones when several players are gathered. ... show more

Pricing was ideal but could've used at least some padding at the top and bottom. It does the job of covering but not necessarily protecting. So if covering is your goal, you got a good deal.

I see a lot of complaints from tamborine players, I am not sure why its called a tamborine case its too big for that. I Bought it for a Bohdran 14" Irish Drum. It fits good inside and I just bought it for carrying, not rally for padding, there is no padding really. But it passes for my needs, probably needs a better description. ... show more
